Dan was a down to earth guy. This is my first time getting home insurance, and he broke down each part in a way that I was able to easily understand. He also found me more discounts for my insurance with my current situation! Greatly appreciate his help with making the process so smooth!

Worst experience I've had with State Farm. The agent proved to be untrustworthy. I wouldn't put something as important as my insurance with him, especially when there are so many other great, trustworthy, reliable agents in the Cedar Rapids area. With other agents, you can meet face to face and tell they really want to get to know you. With Dan, I got the feeling that he only saw me as money in his pocket.

Horrible experience - borderline incompetent staff.

State Farm canceled my auto insurance since my wife's driver's license had supposedly expired (which is not true). They also supposedly sent a letter informing me as such, but I am 100% positive I did not receive any written communication. Most importantly, the agent could not even be bothered to call me personally to tell me my auto insurance was cancelled (they happily kept my home insurance however). They admitted they were notified, but just did not take action! Why bother with a local agent if this is the treatment I can expect!

Don't waste your time with this crew, or State Farm in general. I have since found several other insurance companies with much lower rates and better customer service.

After extensive damage in the Cedar Rapids area, State Farm cut costs by skimping on quotes and pushing the burden of repair costs onto the customers.

Not a great experience at all. I would strongly recommend one of the other agents in the area.
