We had the pleasure of staying at Riverview Ridge over the summer. My wife is a travel medical professional, and we had originally booked our stay at a "RV water resort." We arrived to find that resort was WAY under construction. Mud, gravel and backhoes everywhere. My wife called Riverview Ridge in near desperation, and to our great fortune, they had an open site. They also worked with us to open up the site that we could stay on for the duration of our 13 week stay. We were SO glad it didn't work out with "that other place."

Two playgrounds, river tubing, event pavilion and clubhouse, sand volleyball court, ATV/hike/bike trails, and plenty of trees to catch some shade and relax.

The short-term and long-term guests we had the pleasure of meeting, were all very friendly. Plenty of kids, so our girls always had a blast. The campground events were always enjoyable, so keep an eye on the board by the office!

I've read a few of the negative reviews about golf cart/UTV traffic and loud/raucous parties, and I know first hand that management has taken steps to quell such issues.

Stayed here for a 4 day weekend and the people were very accommodating and friendly. Annette was very helpful and our stay was relaxing. The tubing was a lot of fun as well and was also nice to have a beach to hangout at and get wet as it was a hot weekend. Would recommend and will stay again!

Great place to camp relax and unwind. Staff is all very friendly been a little rainy so far looking forward to tubing today. Only 30 minutes away from the caves and that was fun to explore yesterday even in the rain plan on getting wet and a little muddy bring your flashlights and enjoy the hike

Fantastic spot. The town of Cascade is small town America. I suggest getting some Casey's pizza for dinner one night. We tent camped along the river and the site was spacious and scenic. We saw many rabbits, deer, and birds. The tubing is ok. It's a short trip and pretty shallow but perfect for families and something to do during your stay. The view of the bluffs at the end make the tubing worth it. First night they had a large group on the otherside of the site that was being rude and playing loud music at night and at 5 AM in the morning. I made and comment to the office and the problem was immediately fixed. It was quiet and peaceful afterwards. The showers are great and the tent site bathrooms are far better that any porta potty at other sites. Overall, great experience and would stay again. The tractor ride back to the site after tubing is fantastic as well

Great place to stay whether you are a family with young kids or on a group outing with friends. The owners were very friendly and the restrooms were much cleaner than we've seen at other places. Kids attended an outdoor movie night and thought that was so fun! They had an event calendar posted and we plan to go back over Labor Day for a Luau.

Went tubing. Had a blast. Short run, but with kids, it was perfect. Only ones on the river. They pick you up at the end and take you to your vehicle. Bought ice cream cones at the end. Great day!

I don't own a camper, and rarely go camping. However, I always enjoy visiting this place. They are truly an asset to the "Place We Call Home" Talk to any of the campers, and they always give glowing reviews. Great events and recreational activities, and their maintenance is second to none.

My family had SOOO much fun here! Tubing was a blast! I hope we can make this an annual visit. A playground and shower facility down by the tent sites would be a fantastic addition.

Very nice quiet clean campground with full hookups. Friendly staff! Field of Dreams movie site nearby. You can rent tubes and float down the river.

Bicycling through, camped here as this was a 'known quantity' over pushing through to our Intended Destination of Dyersville.

Following the Direcrions my initial trepidation was rewarded with the Bucolic Splendor that is Bicycle/Tent Camping, replete with distant baying Hounds and the sublime Summer Bugs! If you want 'perfect', stay home, but if you'd like a True 'Back Woods' Experience, dial-in to Camping next to this fast-moving brown River and let the sounds of Nature, both Wild and Csptive, lull you to Primordial Sleep.

The Price of 15-Clams for up to 3-people, regardless of number of Tents, has many County Parks with less Ambiance and more Rules, beat Hands Down! And the Showers are HOT!
