I've lived there for 16 years. Lived on the Mississippi River with a boat dock. and then moved across the river. Just 2 blocks off the Mississippi. I love this area and made a lot of good friends. People are kind and caring and take care of each other.

Went to get gas the machine ate my credit card. Went inside
and the attendant was very nice came out, retrieved my card. Waited till it did it correctly, then went back in.

The Illinois administration won't like my post, but the gas is cheaper on the Iowa side. The lady, at the BP gas station, was very kind.

This is the only place I go for gas. Folks working the counter are always friendly, and there's a great selection of snacks and hot, on-the-go food.
