The tenderloin was very good, no grissle. Breading was light and flavorable.

I orded take out and had the Rib lunch special that came with mashed potato and beans the ribs were done perfect and taste was great , I have also ordered burgers last couple times and they have been great as well will definitely keep trying more food from here

Great place to have drinks, eat, have fun and take your frustrations out on a wooden wall. Been there twice now and definitely will go back.

A gorgeous view to enjoy a meal by! Kim is a friendly face and fabulous manager. Her waitstaff is trained well and very customer oriented for a relaxing experience! Kelly's desserts are homemade and simply to to die for! Dan and his kitchen staff make some of the best hand pattied burgers with delicious combinations and I can't go without mentioning the baked cod! It's forever my favorite and always amazing!

Love, love, love Lids! Super fast and friendly service and their burgers taste exactly like how my grandma made burgers! Axe throwing is also a blast and they provide great instruction if it is your first time!

In my own opinion: Lids is The Best Resturant in our area. They have so much to offer including the obvious bar and grill, full bar service, axe throwing, high and low dining tables, music, drinks, the works!!! And Sure their food is amazing but the hospitality can’t be beat it’s on a whole different level of helpful & happy staff. I’ve never experienced such a positive atmosphere of employees working together!!!A++++ 10/10

Just got a pizza using the drive thru so I don't have an Atmosphere rating. The pizza is delicious, best pizza I've had here in years.

Our friends just moved to the area from Iowa City so we were up visiting them & wanted to see what the tenderloin hype was about. Very clean open space, friendly attentive staff & the tenderloin really was the best I think I've ever had. The owners are present and came to ask about our food. Every person working had been to our table at least once to check on us. Very friendly server. The breading on everything is superb & super fast. Highly recommend for a quick delicious bite. Very welcoming and homey. We will be back for sure!

Went there with my family. The tenderloin was excellent. Our waitress was great too and really took good care of us. Definately will come back.

I've heard rumors about their pork tenderloin, so I had to try it out while I was in town. The tenderloin certainly lives up to the hype. The crinkle cut fries are nice and crispy and well seasoned. Saw another gentleman had ordered a country fried steak with mash potatoes that looked delicious. I will have to stop by again and try it out. If it is even half as good as the tenderloin, it's worth going out of my way for.

Axe throwing is great. Love trying something new. Definitely go again.

Pork tenderloin sandwich was excellent, not because of the meat, but also the bread (buttered and toasted).

They're (rightfully) getting a lot of attention for having the #1 pork tenderloin sandwich in Iowa, but the fries are also top notch. The perfect amount of crisp with excellent seasoning.

Despite it being super busy the service was great. The waitresses were fast, efficient, and very nice, not just with my group but with everyone as far as I could tell. Which was was expressive with almost every table filled. The food was also very good and came quicker than I expected. Very good experience.

We came to Waukon for a weekend family get away. We saw Lids won Best Tenderloin in Iowa so we decided to try it & it didn't disappoint! My husband & I shared the tenderloin & it was so good! We also loved the crinkle cut fries. The staff were so friendly even though they were swamped. It was a very neat local place to eat.

Good handmade burger. A bit noisy for mid-week mid-day.

The food was excellent. We ordered their award winning breaded pork tenderloin. The restaurant was clean and well lit. The tables did not feel crowded.

This place was pretty good. We had 7 people in our group and 4 different checks. The waitress was very happy and friendly. She didn't get anything mixed up for what went to who. I had a pork tenderloin sandwich with fries and a pop. The food was excellent. I was surprised by how cheap the prices were. I would definitely visit this place again. I guess they were thinking about adding breadsticks as a new item on the menu. They gave us 2 baskets for us to try. They were good. I took an edge piece so mine didn't have cheese like everyone else had. I'd order them. Breadsticks isn't something I usually like but their's was just that good. I told the waitress the only thing they should do differently is serve dipping sauce like marinara or ranch dressing. I'll definitely go back here to eat again.

Detoured out of our way from St Paul to the Quad Cities to try a fabulous pork tenderloin and yummy burger at this little gem of a diner. Worth the detour. We'll be back again.

Tenderloin is fantastic, we also had onion rings and cheese curds. The food is so good.
