Very unassuming local joint with delicious food and super friendly owners!! The restaurant is around the back of the building so not visible from the street but still easy to find…will def go back!

Authentic Mexican atmosphere and the best damn burrito I’ve ever had in my life. Incredible experience!!! I will drive the 45 minutes from my house to go here!! 10/10 and what a amazing family!

I had no clue this place existed... Now I will try and drop by every time I’m around. It’s tucked away on the back side of a big building right on the state line. As others have said in reviews, this is a great option for Mexican food around here!

Avocado café is so convenient and their food is delicious. I work at North East Ford and order tacos from here weekly, This place is very clean, they're always timely. We love the support we get from this local business.

Totally fulfilled my nacho craving, super generous toppings. Particularly great rice / salsas that came on the side of our order. I ate vegetarian tonight and was super satisfied, though the meat options smelled awesome when we walked in. Great small business and awesome food. Glad we stopped by to try out Avocado Cafe!

To note, the online ordering said it wasn’t working so we gave a call to put the order in and they picked up right away. Pick up only right now given covid but there were a couple picnic tables outside.

I ate here today with my husband and two kids. The service was great and the food was delicious, especially the house salsa and the cake. I highly recommend eating here.

Very yummy burritos, fajitas and other Mexican food freshly prepared and authentic. Lovely owner and staff. This past Saturday they helped cater the Memorial Event I had for my husband. They did a wonderful job and were so very helpful during a difficult time. Ivan, the owner is a lovely man.

Just had dinner here and it was delicious! The tacos were amazing, and the guacamole was outstanding. The food was ready when we came to pick it up, and was nice and warm! Like another reviewer said, this place is a total hidden gem! We will be back soon.

My partner hails from southern California and after being out here for 4 years we finally found Mexican food that is authentic. The "spicy" food is actually spicy and delicious, the atmosphere is very down to earth and the prices are extremely reasonable for the amount of food you get. Say goodbye to bland Mexican restaurants that compensate for their gross food with too many decorations and go to the Avocado Cafe. Staff is wonderful, polite, and easy to talk to. Couldn't be happier that we stumbled across this gem.

Truly some of the best Mexican in the Northeast! Love these guys so much, been shouting their song for so long. The cafe itself is small, but that makes sense, it's definitely geared towards take-out, or a quick meal. But what a meal it is! Tinga tostadas, tacos al pastor y quesadillas traditional are standouts, so are the Sopes. OMG how can we elevate a small place in the northeast of Dutchess for some kind of award? Not sure, but the family behind Avocado Cafe deserves one.
