Dr Samuel W Wu MD PhD

Doctor Wu is a very sweet and gentle man. He always has a smile on his face and has a wonderful spirit. He is a lot of fun to talk to and will really spend time to sit and listen compassionately and not rush through his appointments, which is a rarity these days in big hospitals. He is also easily accessible and will usually give same day appointments. Thank you Doctor Wu! I hope to work together for a long time.

Dr.Wu is a true blessing, I have been going through so many problems with other drs. And my Insurance. Dr.Wu is very compassionate and knowledgeable, he is very honest and is the only dr in the past 2 years that actually got things done requested mri xrays and referrals to specialists, I was in a car accident that left me with nerve damage torn tendons among other things. Dr Wu has been an amazing find for me! I went to NUMEROUS doctors before finding him and I am SO glad and happy that I did! He has helped me in ways that no other doctor has. I have Crohns Disease and have been in and out of the hospital numerous times over the last year and he has been right there to take awesome care of me! He and his staff are very friendly and always eager to help. He is so patient, kind, diligent and caring. I am so very blessed that Dr Wu is my doctor!! Thank you so much Dr Wu for everything!!

He truly cares about his patients, and pays attentions to details. He follows up with lab test results and make patients aware of what is changing and what need to be done right away. Our family appreciate his care and medical advices over the past 17 years.

Dr. Wu is working with our elderly father. He always takes the time to talk and to listen for as long as is necessary to make an assessment. He always return calls, or will pick up the phone to discuss any medical emergency issues that arises. He does this personally, without asking staff to relay information. In an urgent situation, he makes himself available. He seems incredibly knowledgeable and is an asset to the Gilroy community.

Extremely professional receptionist and Doctor is bit clumsy too. They release my records within half hour to me. Dr. Wu is compassionate, and sensitive and patient. They'll work with you.

Dr. Wu is the reason people don't like and don't trust Doctors. His clothing is stained and torn, his speech is slurred, his train of thought is scattered. The rooms are filthy and his office is a disaster zone. I went in for a Physical and a Well Check and left with only one positive, I had my blood pressure checked, by his receptionist. This was the worst doctors visit I've ever had. He does't want to be there and cares nothing about his profession or his patients. If you care about your health, find another doctor.

PLEASE READ: So I went in here after my doctor who has done quite a bit to help diagnose my issue suggested getting a second opinion since we could not determine the issue. My dad found WU since he lived in Gilroy and I am from Moneterey. Desperate I went with him there. Dr. WU who showed up after I had arrived that morning was wearing Crocks (Yes the garden shoes...) his office looked like NASCAR race track with every type of perscription drug and a TV plastered on his walls. His pens, coats, diagrams, wall hangings and so on were all gifts from the pharmacy. When it was time for me to see him I tried to explain my issues to him and he just flat out DID NOT LISTEN... He actually needed to take a pee and instead of just telling me that he rushed my appointment... I told him that I was trying some alternative medicine that helps me and he immediately ignored that and proceeded to prescribe me PARKINSON medication... Expensive with high side effects... to help what he must have heard was a muscle spasm I have been dealing with. Not once did he ask about diet, exercise, work and environment or even pretend to care. He them proceeded to suggest to do a heart EKG and breathing test for an extra fee that for some dumb reason I said yes to. I could hear him through the wall talking to another patient and he was going over all the pills he had her on. Basically he is a pill pusher (NOT THAT THERE IS ANYTHING WRONG WITH WESTERN MEDICINE AND PILLS ARE GOOD) but he does not do good diagnostics and he is all about money and does not listen. Please find someone else that will take care of you. If you want pills prescribed then go to this guy he will have you on something 5 min after not listening to you.

Worst doctor I have ever seen.. I think a animal doctor would be better than him. I will report him to medical.

Always a hour wait, even with a appointment. And no matter what he will want you to come back in two weeks.
