La Casita Mexican Restaurant

This hidden little gem is on point with service, cleanliness and Ingrid one of the co-owners makes you feel at home. Her description of flavors and tastes are a plus. Their bar is well stocked and offer quite a variety of options a happy hour. This restaurant is family friendly and their salsa is very delicious. When I try a Mexican restaurant the first thing I taste is the beans and rice. If the side dishes are good “usually” the main dish is phenomenal! Greeting, service, cleanliness and food are for sure a two thumbs up 👍🏽👍🏽

The location in a strip mall is quite generic but once inside the restaurant is anything but. The place feels airy and decorations are of good taste. The food was well presented and tasty. The server allowed for some customization.

I was searching for a place to eat one place was busy and wouldn’t take us for 25 minutes came down the road and I saw this place friendly as heck food is tasty. It was our luck that we found this place I will suggest this to everyone this is the kind of Mexican food I grew up with. And I’m from Los Angeles.

Service was amazing 👏 got our table rite away and the server was very attentive to our every need. The owner was very polite and made sure our food was perfect. The flavor was out of this world authentic with hand made corn tortillas. We will definitely return.

really great homemade salsa. We bought some to take home with us. I had the Enchiladas Suizas which were filled with a generous amount of shredded chicken

Excellent mexican...the burritos and taco salad are excellent...everything I have had is wonderful...and you cannot beat the price....the Guacamole is the BEST!!!

I was in vacation and visited several restaurants but La Casita offers the best Mexican food in the entire Grover beach area.

Great food and friendly service. The Steak Ranchero is served in the richest, most delicious sauce and the chili relleno was light, fluffy and stuffed with a good amount of cheese. Great salsa too! I’m definitely going back with my family and I’m picky about Mexican food. Outside patio dining with heaters. 👍👍

I ordered their shrimp cocktail and was amazed to find at least 30 good sized shrimp in a delightfully flavorful cocktail sauce with avocado and cucumber as well as a balance of other flavors. The Flan was the best I have ever had, not your standard restaurant style Flan. Very large portion, serves two to three people easily. Love La Casita Mexican Restaurant

Family owned and operated is always a plus. I get a chimichanga when I try a new place and this was one for the memories. Great taste and just the right amount of crisp. The owner was delightful and even explained why the soup meat appeared red but it was the rice flavoring. It was unusual but it cleared up a question I had. Highly recommend!

The prices are as any are for Mexican.
We usually hard for pickup and the gal on the phone is always a hoot. I enjoy just making the phone call, the service inside is fabulous as well.

Had a friend take me to a spot he said was super good and from. the moment we walked in Colby and Engrid made us feel right at home. Very attentive, kind, and towards the end even sampled us some of their amazing pineapple pudding which had phenomenal flavor topped with whip, it was delicious. I finally found my mexican food go to spot. Try it!

Great family owned Mexican restaurant. We first tried it during the quarantine. They had already had to let all there employees go and were working by themselves. I loved the food and want others to support a local business.

Service was really good, we were helped and served hot chips right away. Food was prepared great. Fresh ceviche and my taco salad had big slices of grilled chicken. Highly recommend.
