If I could give this place 10 stars I would! It is seriously the best service and food I've had in a long time. Jovani was our waiter and he was very happy, upbeat and friendly. He took care of us throughout our whole meal. He informed us after we ordered that each meal came with a free small bowl of soup and it was delicious! Even my picky kids ate theirs! Then after we finished our meals he informed us that they also came with a free dessert which was a scoop of ice cream topped with caramel and cinnamon sugar tortilla strips. We were in heaven! Seriously the best restaurant ever and we will definitely be going back!

Came in for an early lunch after a long hike on the beach. We were sat on the patio, which is very nicely decorated. There were heaters but they were empty. Annette was our waitress and she rocks!!! Thanknyou Annette for a great dinning experience with your excellent service.
We were served a cream of tomatoe bisque prior to our meal. The soup was so flavorful, creamy, and thick. It was served very warm. 😋 We ordered the following:
Chile Verde pork chunks served with alot of meat and the sauce was good. The chile colorado pork chunks were very tender. The  chile relleno was soft but not mushy and the combination fajitas plate was very large. Easily feed two people with some leftover to take home. I would have liked more shrimp though, maybe 4 in the plate. All plates served with rice and your choice of black or pinto beans, and corn or flour tortillas. I ordered the  birria de chivo. I must say, the meat was so tender and very flavorful. I will come back and order the plate again. Please stop by if you can for flavorful food and great service!

Man I loved this place. Plenty of seating inside and patio with heaters. Really good selections on menu. Even serve burgers as well as Mexican and seafood. Really great server who steered us in the right direction of good selections. Pozole in Saturdays and menudo on Sundays! Definitely try it out if you are in the area.

We will be a returned customer! We got a gift card and came to try Me and Z's the first time today. We loved the food and its presentaion. We ordered Fajitas and it came with soup and ice cream dessert. The price is reasonable and the service is good. We will definitely come back.

Was told about this place by a friend. Great service, the food was the real deal. They serve Chips and salsa then a bowl of tasty pozole before your meal. Then after your meal they serve you ice cream, sweet... I had the awesome Chile verde burrito. My wife had the Calamari strips that were the best we ever had. This might be our favorite restaurant now.

The Best Pozole soup to start the meal along with chips and salsa. Then this time we had Taco salads vary good. Then of course the ice cream for desert. Been coming here for alot of years. Great staff as well always been friendly

First, each entree comes with a soup and scoop of ice cream.... not just any soup and not just any ice cream!! We had pozole and the ice cream, a creamy vanilla has bunuelo (cinnamon sugar tortilla chips) strips and a caramel drizzle! It was the PERFECT end to our amazing meal! Everything had great flavor! The outdoor patio is super nice! Goovanni was an attentive and friendly server! The shrimp ceviche is fresh and a generous portion.

Popular place, enough so that we had to wait for a time. Very much worth the wait however. Some great selections and it was very hard to decide. Some I had never seen on any Mexican food menu. I will not write about my choice so as to not sway your decision.

Small family mexican/seafood restaurant about 3miles from Pismo beach. Excellent food and friendly, generous staff. Great prices too.

We were there on a Saturday night in October for early dinner and were able to park in front of the door. We were seated right away and they brought chips and salsa with our drink order. After we ordered our meal they brought, surprise!, soup. It wasn't included as part of our meal but they said it was on them. Next came our meal and it was good. Lastly they asked if we wanted the dessert. We said, what dessert? They said oh you'll love it and they were right. There was no charge on our bill for the chips, the soup, or the dessert! We were blown away by the experience and we'll definitely go back. YES.

I love eating here. They have a taco salad that is wonderful.
After you order they bring you an appetizer. Thursday is a creamy tomato soup. After the meal they bring out a small vanilla ice cream with caramel sauce and a small pastry. Yum! There is a large covered patio in the back along with ample parking.

Fantastic Mexican food!! There's a great outdoor dining area that offers more space if you're with a larger group or you just want to enjoy eating outside. The the staff is friendly and helpful. There's a sweet little treat included after the meal.

Drove by here 100's of times and never even saw the place... but what a find! Small - about 35-40 seats. Wait staff (2) were constantly moving and keeping everyone happy. Food takes a while, but that is due to it being made fresh as you order. My wife thought the portion was a bit small, but for the price pint I think they are right on target.

Great food and service all for a great price! I eat here way too often, but you just can't go wrong with this place. I always get the food to go, but for the first time I dined-in and I was blown away by the service. After ordering food they brought us clam chowder (just enough to hold you over until you get your food), chips/salsa, our food, then as we're waiting to pay the bill they brought us a small dessert (just enough to top off dinner and not too sweet either). I later learned that the "extras" are part of the dine-in experience. If you haven't tried this place out you're missing out.

Okay first of all let me start by saying this place is an absolute Gem!
Authentic food. A great portion for a very affordable cost. And dessert offered with every meal. Yummy and great options. Big menu. Pretty quick. I recommend if you're in a hurry to call and order in for pickup. They're super nice!

The Very Best Authentic Mexican Food !!! Z and her Staff always treat you like family and will make smile. The outside patio area is my favorite place to sit and the service is top notch. Day or night there is always great atmosphere. The food is made when you order it and you can taste the quality in every bite. The fresh Chips and Salsa start things off and it just gets better. The Soup of the day is always made hearty and the Ice Cream and Carmel desert at the end of the meal is the finishing touch. I am getting so hungry writing this review....I think I will go there right now. Parking in the back of the location area is always a plus.

Love it, love it. Staff and owner made you feel at home. The mexican food was authentic and delicious . Price was excellent for party of 4, plus came with dessert. How sweet is that, no pun intended. You can miss it, because its tucked away
