I had the best 2 night trip at this gorgeous hotel. The room was stunning, quiet, clean and super cool. And the restaurant was amazing. Pool so clean and relaxing.
I also forgot something behind and when I called 3 days later, they remembered and Liz said she would mail it out to me immediately. The service is impeccable! I'm definitely coming back.

👙Poolside was supercute with no ridiculous bed or chair charges

This spot is perfect for Insta enthusiasts! The pool get good sunshine between 10am until 2pm. Despite its small size, the hotel is serene, visually appealing, and the slow-paced restaurant delivers on delicious food. This property exceeded my expectations.

My recent stay at The Sands was nothing short of extraordinary. Perfect 3-day getaway with my girlfriends. From the moment I stepped into the lobby until the day I reluctantly checked out, I was thoroughly impressed with every aspect of this hotel. I can't get their lobby scent out of my mind, wish I could bottle that up and take it home with me!

Accommodations: The rooms are comfortable and aesthetic. They offer the perfect blend of modern comfort and classic Palm Springs style. The attention to detail in the decor and furnishings was perfect.

Stunning Grounds: The hotel's grounds are a lush paradise with so many hidden perfect picture opportunities. The pool area was very clean, and inviting -courtyards are a testament to the oasis-like atmosphere that Palm Springs is known for. It's a tranquil escape from the outside world.
Exceptional Service: The staff is unparalleled in their dedication to guest satisfaction. They are warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. Whether it's restaurant recommendations or arranging for extra amenities, their service was impeccable. Efren was the stand out on this visit, he assisted us at the pool, he was charming, kind, and outgoing, gave us the best food & drink recommendations... I may need to fly back to this hotel just for their Crab Roll...

I recently got a body scrub treatment at the Sands Hotel by Steven, and my sister got a full body massage by Richard. We had an incredible experience, and we highly recommend going there for any spa treatment! They were friendly, professional, and made us feel totally relaxed and so well taken care of!!

We will never stay anywhere else in Palm Springs or Indian Wells 😍 Sands has the BEST service and staff, as well as incredible food and comfortable accommodations. Their service goes above and beyond and we feel welcomed like family every time. As an adults only boutique hotel, the ambiance is so peaceful. Truly a desert oasis! Everyone should experience Sands at least once… but i’ll return 2-3 times a year as long as i live in CA.

We had the absolute best time here! A small group of us went to Palm Springs for my husband's birthday. We weren't aware of this hotel yet, so we had stayed at a different hotel through the weekend, but decided to extend our trip one more day and switch up our hotel. That's when I found Sands. We wish we had stayed here the whole time, and this will definitely be our new go-to.

The moment you walk into the main entrance, it's so calm and comforting. The front desk staff was very sweet and helpful. At check in, we were talking to the woman at the front desk about our weekend and the birthday celebrations. She was super nice, said HBD to my husband, and guided us to the room. About ten minutes after we settled in, there was a knock at the door and it was an employee with a bottle of champagne, flutes, flowers, and a handwritten birthday card from the front desk. That was so kind of them and it just set the tone for how great of a stay this was going to be.

We spent a majority of the time at the pool. The pool side food and drink service was a big plus! Everything was delicious. Valarie is the absolute best! She went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and right at home. Cannot praise her enough.

Cannot wait to go back!

Loved this boutique hotel- adults only, super convenient to get to Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA. Great staff and service, tasty food, perfectly sized pool. Rooms were super clean and the decor was quite chic. Excellent shower pressure and comfortable beds! Truly enjoyed my stay and they surprised me with cookies for my birthday- these personal touches are so thoughtful and make a big difference. Thank you to the team at Sands- I will most certainly be back!

We were two girls getting out of town stayed at this cute boutique Hotel. I loved their juices and young lettuce salad with the grilled chicken. Such a cute little café to eat at. We also had drinks and food at poolside so fun and great service. Everything was excellent. I love that salad so much I had to get it all three days.

I had the most amazing stay at Sands Hotel & Spa! The service was absolutely over the top! Everyone was so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was so yummy! Pool service was on point. My partner proposed at Sands Hotel & Spa. I know It wouldn’t have been what it was without the staff. So grateful, thank you SO much! 🤎

Can’t rave enough about Sands. The hotel staff are amazing, genuinely good people , Luis is a great manager , and makes sure that your stay is nothing short of incredible. The pool is always busy, so go early if you want a cabana . The cabanas on the left are first come first served. The Pink Cabana restaurant is another great feature of the property… you can grab a drink , grab dinner, or lite bites and just walk right upstairs to your room. I’ve stayed here several times, each gets better and better !

Easily one of the most amazing boutique hotels I have ever stayed at, probably the best. The staff, the cleanliness, amazing at the restaurant for every single meal breakfast lunch and dinner and even poolside and it was a treat to be able to stay there. Only recommendation I have for anyone is to not count on arriving early. We did not receive our room until the 4:00 p.m. check in time exactly. And that's the rule, so that's fine. But since we were traveling from out of town and arrived very early in the day it would have been great to get in a little bit early or to have been offered to use the pool facility and hold our bags. But instead we were offered a few local restaurants and or shopping areas to go spend the last 2 hours before we could check in.

Sands Hotel & Spa is amazing! We booked this place a couple weeks ago when planning our short getaway to Palm Desert/Indian Wells, and it far surpassed anything we could’ve expected. The design of this hotel is top notch! We love the unique style of the rooms, buildings, and landscaping. It is very elegant!

There is plenty of parking at the hotel, and even electric car chargers (regular chargers, not Tesla superchargers, FYI) - so you’ll have no issue with parking. When we first arrived, we were given great service by the man behind the counter and the other man who took our suitcases to our room. They were friendly, answered all questions, and acted upbeat and professionally! As an added bonus, there was complimentary Moroccan tea and coffee available whenever you wanted it!

We were upgraded when we arrived, but then later downgraded to the original room we booked. They felt terrible about this confusion, so they gave us dinner on the house the first night! And WOW - that was amazing! You need to try their restaurant for both dinner AND breakfast when you’re staying here. The food is exceptional! Everything was so flavorful, drinks were amazing, and desserts were top-notch! I had some of the best duck, and easily some of the best ice cream (locally-made; super unique flavors) I’ve ever had. I would give 6 stars to the restaurant if I could!

We didn’t get a chance to use the pool as it was really cold when we visited, but the entire pool area was super well-kept and pristine. There were fires going with ample seating next to them to keep you warm. And the rooms themselves were beautiful and well-designed as well! We loved the Moroccan style throughout the entire hotel and there were absolutely no complaints throughout our entire stay.

There is also a club right next door, and when arriving you might be worried you’ll hear the music since it’s so close, but the hotel did a great job sound-proofing so noise is not an issue. Sand Hotel & Spa is a secluded getaway in desert paradise! We will return, we will also return to the restaurant many times, and we cannot recommend it enough!!

The desk staff were amazing! They were so accommodating. The rooms are lovely. The only downside was the poolside service. Basic poolside amenities were not as well maintained. Overall, I recommend and will definitely return.

Amazing spot for a best friend birthday get away. The rooms are large and the tub was everything. The pool was great too. The mint tea so refreshing. I want to live there.

This was perfect. The staff truly understands why you are staying at a boutique hotel and they really make your experience something you will always remember. The rooms are kept immaculate. The grounds are also nicely kept. The pool area is cozy with plenty of sun an shade. The service by the pool is pampering, the pool staff is always around to help and care for you. You would have no problem spending the entire day pool side with the delicious Pink Cabana restaurant at the hotel. So glad me an my Wife were able to experience this.

Had the opportunity of shooting at this venue recently and absolutely loved it. The aesthetic is totally on point with symmetry and CA light coming together to make one of the best wedding venues in Palm Springs imo.

We originally found this place by accident as a lunch stop off on our way to a different resort. We liked it so much we came back at a later date specifically to stay! The food and drinks are interesting and delicious, high quality items that meant we never had to leave the Sands once we arrived. In the off-season (we went Nov 1) there was tons of space around the pool and temperatures outdoors, indoors, and in the water were perfect. Great service, and really lovely rooms with cozy beds, beautiful showers, and even a nice mini bar setup (not something I normally would have even noticed). This was the perfect place to decompress after a stressful wedding month. We also appreciated the fact that this spot is adults only!

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the resort. Our deluxe king room was nice with a comfy bed and nice tub. The pool was so relaxing and Wendy was the best! Our food and drinks at the pool and the Pink Cabana were delicious and the staff was super nice. We only had positive encounters with the staff at this cute hotel. We even had a massage in the couple’s room and it was perfect. We would definitely stay here again for a needed getaway!
