Really cool shop with great people working there. Jake was really helpful and fun to talk with. I did not buy anything that day, but I was able to try anything I wanted and even plug into a real Blonde Fender Showman. The Harmonic Tremolo/Univibe sounds from that amp are unreal.

As an experienced player looking for nice guitars in Orange County there is no better spot to go if you love Fender Custom Shop and High end Gretsch guitars. Their selection is great and based on the way I was treated I will definitely be giving them business on any future purchase. I also would not hesitate bringing a guitar for fretwork or a setup.

They even had Magnatone amps!

Absolutely the best guitar shop/repair service in the area. Ben was quick and professional with a my repair and the pricing was more than fair. They also have one of the best selections of instruments and not just your standard stuff. Will definitely come back again.

Went in to play a Martin. The price tag looked like $599.00. So I made an offer. Guy behind the counter said it was $999.00. So I offered $800.00 out the door. Guy behind the counter goes into this monolog on how difficult it is to find these guitars and such. I say, "I'm finding it hard to feel sorry for you". Guy behind the counter tells me to get out of his store. He actually kicked me out.

Been going there for as long as I can remember. I put the guitar down and said, "it's a nice guitar" and walked out.

My wife is a physician. I told her about the story. Next thing I know, there's a $6k 1968 Martin sitting in our bedroom. She got online and purchased this beautiful guitar for me because she loves me and felt bad I went thru that. Love that woman!

Would have liked to support our local businesses. Buy hey, if they don't want it, we won't give it.

Welp, everyone deserves a 2nd chance; except my sister.

The old case for my 68 carved two intentions on the neck while on a trip to AZ. I know for a fact the Laguna Beach Guitar Shoppe is the best in the world at repairing guitars. And I don't say that lightly. Prior to getting kicked out of the Shoppe, they had been repairing and servicing my guitars for 30 years. So I went back asking them to repair my 68 Martin.

They were happy to have me back and vice versa.

Incredible repair job. I cannot even see where the damage was. Looks good as new.

Glad to be back. You guys are the best! Good thing I didn't haggle on the price of repair this time...

One of the best guitars I ever had was a Chet Atkins nylon string Gibson electric acoustic. Knowing that he went to this shop, seeing some of the guitars that are similar in style is really what sets this place apart. They have some great ukuleles too. I’ve picked up a few music books here and staff is friendly and helpful. There’s always world class musicians coming in and out of this shop, which makes it one of the best kept secrets in town. This is a guitar shop, but it’s also like a living museum, you can learn a lot from the folks here. True craftsmen. Respect.

New to the guitar game but found myself searching for an acoustic after my brothers passing. Went to a couple BIG stores and lack of inventory was disappointing. Took a shot in the dark and stopped by The Guitar Shoppe...so glad I did. Surprisingly more selection of acoustic than stores 5 times their size. Personal service with quality set up. Found a Special Edition model that didn’t even know existed. If you are in the market for a guitar, give this place try. You won’t be disappointed.

I have used Ther Guitar Shoppe now for almost three years. They have done setups on my Martin Acoustic as well as my Gibson ES 345. Ben is an excellent luthier and plays guitar well too. It sometimes takes a little time for the work to be completed, but worth the wait. Don't hesitate to use this store for all your guitar needs. Best in SoCal.

The best. Guitar Shoppe is the ONLY place I go for purchase, repair, maintenance of my guitars. They are homeowned. Mostly I see Sean Copeland for my needs but, everyone there is helpful. I have complete confidence in them. If you're looking for a new instrument or maybe fix up an old one, look no further. They also offer lessons from talented and experienced instructors.

Cool spot on the PCH. Lots of guitars available and friendly staff. Overheard a bit of a lesson; the instructor was a skilled teacher. Patience and supportive.

A had a brief visit with a noted professional guitarist friend who was picking up his finely tuned Martin. You can tell the people here care and are musicians and artists first.

Bought my 1955 00-17 here. Ben and staff are AWESOME. They just did a set up years after purchase and didn't charge me- great service.

Plus their selection of acoustics is unreal!

Even my main luthier I use for electrics told me to just take the acoustics to Ben!

I've been doing business there for over 20 years. I would not trust my guitars to any other shop on the planet. The absolute best guitar shop in this galaxy. All are professionals. Great service and selection. The real deal.

Great place. Great selection. You could start the day trying out guitars and still be finding jewels at closing time.
