What makes this place great is the amazing small cozy atmosphere, free garlic bread with marinara sauce, reasonable prices, and amazing service. We didn’t get any pastas this time but you can’t go wrong with any of there options. If we were to recommend a pizza get the Margarita. Overall this is amazing restaurant that we highly recommend and nothing better than supporting a small family business.

Appetizers were unbelievably good, especially the bruschetta. So unexpectedly amazing restaurant. I wish the pasta and pizza weren’t as salty as they were. But amazing place truly

We've wanted to try this restaurant for a while. Pretty bummed out we didn't go sooner. Wasn't a busy night but survice was spot on. They brought out fresh baked piping hot rolls with marinara sauce to start. I had the homemade lasagna and my wife had the spinach and chicken cantalone. The lasagna was delicious and the spinach dish was the bomb! Very reasonably priced in my opinion. Look forward to going back!

Love coming here! Super relaxing place. I bring my grandchild and sit outside He loves the meatballs and I love their chopped salad and Pizza. They have great pizza!

Five-Star Dining at Romano’s Pasta and Pizza

My recent visit to Romano’s Pasta and Pizza with a party of 5 on New Year’s Eve 2023 was an unforgettable experience! The Rigatoni Bolognese was absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked with a rich and flavorful sauce that tantalized my taste buds. But the star of the evening was the Short Rib Ravioli - each bite was a delightful blend of tender meat and exquisite pasta, creating a memorable dish. The highlight of our visit, however, was the amazing service provided by Raul. His attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and friendly demeanor made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Romano’s truly deserves a five-star rating for both their incredible food and outstanding service.

I ordered trays of food for 30 people, less than 24hours for an office gathering. Staff was very accommodating, suggested modifications for vegetarian options, suggested the amount of food and even willing to deliver! Most places don't take delivery order less than 24hrs! We definitely got a ton of food, all are amazing! People in the office said it's the best vegetarian pastas they've ever had 😊 they even let me borrow kitchen utensils to serve the food (I gave them back after we are done using 😁). Thank you so much Romano's crew for being amazing!!

A hidden gem! Romano's is like the local neighborhood Italian restaurant that we went to growing up in NJ. Really tasty basic Italian food. We like dining in and ordering their entrees. But I know they do a big take out pizza business too. (I've never had their pizza but have heard good things) Their pasta dishes can't be beat and the chopped salad is exceptional.

Absolutely delicious! They have the best garlic rolls I've ever tasted and the pasta dishes were amazing.

My husband and I have been eating at Romanos for years! The food is delicious and the service is great! During COVID, Romanos was our go to for an easy yet yummy dinner for our family! As a plant-based family, the kitchen is always willing to work with us to make substitutions or new creations to meet our dietary needs! The Romanos Pasta, the pizzas, the gnocchi with vodka sauce…fantastic! You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu! Highly highly recommend!

We stopped here on our visit in Dana Point. Worth the stop. Romano's pasta & mixed berry salad were so tasty 😋 the bread they give on the side is top notch. Place was busy on a Tuesday night, understandable given how delicious the food was

It was my first time and I had such an amazing COVID-19 dining experience. Of course it was outdoor seating. Food was soooo good and service was above 5 stars. Raul, our server was the best. Folks, I always believe in helping our local business owners, this one you can support with pride. I highly recommend.

The service there is great! The food always comes out hot and fresh! They have a great menu. They also have a good wine list. It's very clean and good outdoor seating. I will keep going back!

The best Italian in San Clemente, Bar none. The staff are God's gift to the world. They work incredibly hard and are so friendly, we don't deserve them. And every dish is a work of art, every bite a sensational and beautiful memory. I will continue to give them my business for as long as I am alive.

Always great food, good service, and never too long of a wait if at all! Nice private outdoor seating so it's not too noisy either! Love this place! Seafood stuffed shells are delicious!
