We have been shopping at Novaks for over 20 years! The owners and staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful!! They always offer to wrap my gifts for free. We have rented tuxedos, purchased wedding gifts, baby shower gifts. We love their Pendleton Towels and blankets. Their sock wall is the BEST!

Great Quality Selection

Fits perfectly. Themed and tucked away in the gold veined Hill's.

CLOSED!!! They have quality offerings for sure, and a good fit for downtown NC. The shop window does not convey what’s inside, so cover the yawn it inspires and push the door open, and you’ll find something great for yourself or the one you cherish. I cherish myself occasionally, and shuffled out with a hat I’ve been searching for far too many years. You may need to have a little patience with the tempo of the shop, but sleepy is sometimes a good atmosphere in which to shop.

I bought a sweater over $200 for my husband at Novak‘s for Christmas. At the same time I picked him up some handkerchiefs because he needed some new ones. However, all they had were polyester. I wasn’t sure if he would like them and obviously we had to open them to touch them and see if they would work. They didn’t and when I took them back to return them, they would not take them back. A store that’s charging that much money for a sweater should be able to take back the handkerchiefs and I just feel like I never ever want to shop there again! This is not the kind of business I want to promote.
