The Pizza Joint

Yummy pizza! I ordered a Grandma slice, for $7.50, and a side of ranch for an additional $.75. It filled me up. I was pleased to have such a tasty, savory meal for under $10!

It is a great pizza joint! If you like 'real' pizza (northeast) you'll like this place! The pies are huge and delicious. It doesn't try to do anything other than make a great pizza! So glad I found them after repeated disappointments with pizza places in all of California.

I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOVVEE THIS PLACE!! I swear it's the best pizza place around! I always get it if I'm craving pizza!

Best pizza in Nevada city/Grass Valley IMHO. Nice to be able to get a slice, It’s basically take out or you can eat at the counter or outside. One size fits all of you get a whole pie so a good excuse of leftovers.
Recommend the New Yorker.

This is some of the best pizza I've ever had . The people there are wonderful an treat you like family. I love that they sell pizza by the slice . You can miss match every kinda pizza. I think it's pretty sweet tbh .

Coming from NY, I hold pizza to a pretty high standard… I was blown away by The Pizza Joint. 10/10 would recommend.

Margarita was my favorite, but the pepperoni rivals the best of the best.

Some of the best pizza I've had hands down. Just stopped in because of the pizza by the slice sign. I was blown away by the quality and taste of the pizza. Can't recommend this place enough

This place is bar far our favorite pizza place.

Had the pepperoni pizza when we were visiting Nevada City. We ate this pizza 4 times in 3 days. It was that damn good. Not much room to sit and enjoy the pizza, but we ate it standing, at the brewery next door, at a winery and at a local bar.

Crispy crust, perfectly proportioned sauce, cheese and pepperoni. The small pepperoni was crispy and so delicious.

My boyfriend said he liked this pizza more than his mom’s. I’ve NEVER heard him say that and we have had a lot of different pizza places.

Dreaming of the day we make that 8 hour dive and get to eat this delicious pizza again. If you live close by or are visiting, you’ve gotta try this place.

Popped in here on a day visit to Nevada City. Amazing varieties. The crust was exceptional. Nice grab and go.

Grab a slice of some of the best pizza I have ever had. The New Yorker is my favorite. Large slice, fold and eat.

As I sat there, my mind spiraled into a kaleidoscope of sensations. The once familiar surroundings of the pizza joint became a dizzying array of colors and shapes, dancing in harmony with the wicked faces that seemed to mock me from every corner. My senses were heightened, every sound amplified to a cacophony of laughter and whispers. I tried to grasp onto reality, but it slipped through my fingers like sand, leaving me lost in a surreal dreamscape. The staff's smiles turned sinister, their words melting into incomprehensible murmurs. Reality had become a distant memory as I journeyed deeper into the psychedelic abyss of my mind.

Absolutely amazing!!! I had a special order at 4 in the afternoon on the Fourth of July. They rocked a grandma margarita pizza in epic time.!whoa.

Great! Definitely not your average RoundTable.. pleasantly different selections you can order by slice or pie. Only one size and mine was the kind you have to tilt to fit through door. Great price in my opinion. Seemed a bit tight seating wise but had a warm welcoming feel to the place to make up for it.

Such a cool place with a feel of a NYC pizza joint. The location is great, with great bartop seating/standing room only. The view is of the NC streets, which can be interesting.

The food/pizza slices are great sizes and delicious. The selection is about 8 hot fresh pizzas.

Highly recommend stopping by and grabbing a slice or two and enjoying.

I am an avid hater of New York style pizza, but The Pizza Joint changed my perspective. Their pizza is hands down the best NY pizza I’ve ever had. It’s flavorful, crunchy, and the slices are perfect size. Will go again next time I’m in town!
