Elyze Clifford Interpretive Center

This is a hidden gem in our own backyard....After visiting here, you will appreciate the AV more...The desert is such a beautiful place, every season has it's own climate. From being a 110' n summer to 20' n winter an walking threw this preserve each of the 4 seasons your able to see each seasons own climate...

The fantastic Antelope Valley Audubon Society meets here for programs. Always attend those presentations and engagements. The staff at the place is amazingly friendly. And it is a beautiful place to catch a bit of a respite from the city and the constant noise. It's a bit more faint at this preserve. A wonderful local community variable to have.

I had not been there for many years. I'm part of a local rock painting group and decided to venture out even in the rain to go see if I might find any painted rocks and actually found three. Fun thing to do painting rocks and leaving them for others to find.

Perfect place for the outdoorsy person. Great walking/running path for anybody that would like to get away from the normal street view & they also have a small Museum which provides information about their Preserve location , the type of plants & animals native to the land.

Good setting for a walk or jogging. No dogs, skating, skateboarding or bicycles allowed. Really good place for praying and meditation. Museum is very nice & good for children as well as adults.

It is located in the Wildlife Preserve. This place is an oasis in the middle of a busy city. Nice place to escape for the noisy and clutter of society. Make sure to pay respect to the area. Nice place for Pokemon Go as well.

The facility has interesting information on the local animals and plant life in addition to the hiking trails. We love the informative guest speakers the facility brings in covering a variety of topics.

Beautiful place for a walk/jog or stroll. I take my little one's there to 'nature watch' an awesome bonus is that there are a lot of Poke Stops and a few Gyms if you play :)

If you like desert and bunnies ... This walking park is great ... Center needs longer hours and the outhouse on trail is not the cleanest but the only option due to centers limited hours

Great place for kids! Lots of hares and rabbits to see , also the small museum is great!

Nice place to learn more about the flora, fauna & Native American history of the area.

The environment is calm, pathways are wide and there are many animals, especially in the morning.

The people here are always friendly and helpful.

Went to the moon walk. Good tour of the night sky. Bring warm clothes in winter.

Two kinds of rabbits were visible as we strolled about. Very nice.
