Holiday Inn Express Lancaster, an IHG Hotel

My husband and I have stopped and stayed here a few times. They have a lot of parking. It's not in a super crowded area but not too far if you need to go grab anything either. The workers are always super kind and helpful and friendly. They rooms are a little dated but super comfortable. They have lots of shampoo and conditioner and everything so you never really have to ask for extra. The breakfast is good I like when they have the biscuits and gravy. Also if you're going with kids the suites are good since they're in the same room but the bedroom and the sitting area have a door to actually have a bit of separation

Hotel is give or take 10 mins from my In-law’s house. Love that there is something close by such as restaurants and grocery stores. Check in was quick and got to my room right away. The girls at the front desk are wonderful. Breakfast burritos are great ( had a few lol) I will stay again when I visit.

I didn't actually stay at the Lancaster Holiday Inn. We were in town for a girls softball tournament in Palmdale. Seeing that we passed the Palmdale Holiday Inn on the freeway and it was less than a mile from the tournament, I asked to cancel our reservation so we can stay at the Palmdale location. Shawn at the front desk was absolutely helpful. She advised me to call the Palmdale location and ensure they had availability before she cancelled our room, which was smart and helpful! I let her know that we did get in at Palmdale. She explained to me that she personally couldn't refund us but she would pass along a note to a manager who could do so the following Monday. She even advised me to call on Monday to ensure the refund was completed. Again, smart and helpful! I called back the following Monday and the manager, Wendy, was 100% aware of our situation and told me that it has already been entered. At this point, I was absolutely thankful for both ladies. They were extremely helpful and very pleasant. Later that day I saw the refund hit my bank account. However, three days later a charge for the entire weekend was on my bank statement. Apparently, the cancellation fee is the entire charge, not reduced at all. In my case, $300. I called back and Shawn answered the phone. She asked me for my phone and email address. She explained that the cancellation fee will be refunded and even emailed me a receipt showing it. This was however after speaking to someone who wasn't very pleasant, stated that we should have read the fine print, and I could not get a refund for the cancellation fee. Ultimately, every encounter I had with Shawn was amazing. In person and late at night, she was upbeat, a pleasure to talk to, and extremely helpful. Over the phone, she was the same! Holiday Inn in Lancaster is lucky to have her at front desk and as the first impression guests encounter as they walk in.

Loved our stay even though we had a power outage. The staff is great and breakfast was satisfying though missed the pancakes

I put down $100 deposit and they kept it saying I took their dove bottles first of all they’re locked to the walls and I brought my own hygiene. They’re very unprofessional my room was nasty bathroom, dirty. There was hair everywhere like somebody shave their beard and it was left. Didnt seem to be cleaned but the beds were made. Breakfast was almost 9 point pancake machine is broken they have dry cereal, but no milk I would not recommend this place to anybody I know thank you Holiday Inn express in Lancaster, California for us for giving me such a bad experience

We have been very pleased with our experience at this hotel. This hotel just gets it right. Clean rooms, friendly service, awesome continental breakfast, and all the basic amenities you need. This is what all hotels in this price range should be like. Great value for the price.

Clean hotel with friendly and professional staff. Breakfast was good, loved the Dove products. Highly recommend and I will be back again!

Slight issue with the room when I checked in, bit when I raised the concern with the front desk that very promptly moved me to another room which was absolutely fine.

Weird mix of renovated and old. It's obvious the rooms have had new carpet, a lick of paint and updated furniture but the bathrooms are the older style. Not an issue really just don't expect one of the ultra modern HIE.

Staff were absolutely amazing, courteous and helpful, and as always the room was very clean. Standard IHG stuff such as plenty of parking, and good coffee. I overslept so did not have breakfast, but they're breakfast opens super early (5am I think) which is indicative of their usual trucker clientele).

All in all, represents excellent value for money, and lives up to expectations.

Very good space to bring large cars or trailers right in front, without any problem, thank you.

Great hotel enjoyed my stay for work. Everything was great from the room to the 5am breakfast. The price seems really high after all the fees and such. I blame the economy for that. Overall very nice hotel and wonderful staff.

I never slept so good in a hotel. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The room was spacious. Quiet hotel. Great, simple, hot food breakfast bar. I highly recommend this place. 👌

Check in was quick and easy. Parking and continental breakfast was free which is always nice. I parked my car under a tree and the next morning it was covered in bird poop, so I would advise against parking under any tree, even though the shade for your car seems nice. The room was clean, the amenities were nice, and the showers pressure was painfully delightful. I didn't get to try the breakfast because I woke up too late, but I assume it's good enough for a quick bite. There's a gym and a business center which is always nice if you're there for a few days. Just a heads up to anyone who wants to split the bill at checkout; I recommend telling the front desk staff about it because they'll charge your card on the day of check out and slide the bill under your door. I was totally fine with that but some might not be. Overall great experience and am looking forward to staying again and actually trying to breakfast this time.

Good hotel near the post office and places to eat there’s even a grocery store down the street. Spacious rooms, staff was great. There’s a adult toy and lingerie store that delivers out in Lancaster and they bring your order right to your room door discreetly.

I really liked this location. It's very clean, inside and out. The rooms are a good size too. Even better, they include breakfast - real breakfast, pancakes, eggs, oatmeal, yogurt and all. Great place and the employees have always been great.

I was in the Antelope Valley teaching a class and was so surprised by how clean and well-kept this hotel is. The staff goes above and beyond, the breakfast buffet had lots of delicious options. Huge bonus that the pool and jacuzzi stay open late.

The answer to my overheated July trek thru the desert. #1 Air Conditioning 5/5 #2 Swimming pool 5/5 #3 Breakfast bar 5/5.

Restful sleep now recharged and on to Phoenix.
