Had a water leak by meter. The water department employee was able to review and let me know that the leak was my responsibility to repair. This service is free and he was very professional...

This is where you can go to pay your water bill if you are in jeopardy of having your water shut off. Or where you pay your bill to get your water turned back on.

Trying to get on their website so I don't get a late fee. I call and it hangs up on me so frustrating. They'd better not charge me. All I want to do is pay my bill.

Horrible service, I had service for roughly three months. When I opened my account they did state it would take this long for them to send my first bill. I moved out on my third month and canceled my service. I had my final bill forward to my new address when it came it was under the previous tenant name and came with a late fee. When I called it took me over an hour for someone to answer then all they told me was that it belong to the previous tenant and that I didn’t have a pending balance. I ask if I would be charged anything for the three months I did have service he stated no the bill belongs to the previous tenant. I asked if he would be able to remove the late fee since technically it was no late, he replied no the account is closed we can’t remove it. Worse service ever.

I started a dispute for meter recalculation and went through all the proper channels. I got only a credit of $77 mind you my bill was over $700 usually my bill is in the range of $150-$220 monthly highest been in summer. I thought that they would fix the issue with billing. I got a called that the bill would get adjusted and I've been waiting ever since to reflect the site. Out of no where my water gets cut off. I paid the most recent bill of $176 I actually sent $200 thinking they were working on the other bill adjustments. I never saw the adjustment because I wasn't expecting a $77 credit I never saw the $700 go lower. lol They are charging us a reconnect fee now. I paid whatever they are demanding as I have no choice. I will pursue litigation and will update soon. It's so sad the gov does nothing or regulates this selfish money hungry business.

This place absolutely sucks. Their online system looks like it was built when the internet was first created and has never been updated since. It's about as user friendly as a porcupine on crack. The staff is rude, and virtually impossible to reach. Want to update your credit card for auto pay? Can't do it online. Everything these guys do is stupid.

The worst! Workers here are very rude! They know they’re the only company out here and they treat people like garbage! They added a damage fee to my bill for something their company did! I would have no access to the water reader without a “special tool” only they have, yet I’m being charged? An agent by the name of Sandy hung up on me today. I’ve been dealing with this for months and still not resolved! Have to wait for a supervisor to call you back, wait on hold for long periods of time if they don’t disconnect the call by then. It’s ridiculous!

Not a professional company !!Horrible customer service over the phone I called 4 times 2 in english and 2 in spanish I would wait on hold and they would pick up and jot say anything I could hear noise from the other side but they were silent by the 3rd call a girl answered I told her I wanted to check my account and she pretended to not hear me and she kept saying senora then I told her I would record this conversation and she hung up then I called again and said I was recording conversation and got hung up on again .... I have a past due amount that I am simply trying to get some explanation on so I can pay but your workers make it very hard ... not a professional company

They don’t check the meters so how am I being charged an extra $50 bucks a month when nobody gets out to check inside of the water meter. Last 2 year they stay in the truck across the street than drive off.

Lettuce or Latrice, whatever her name was, was very disrespectful. She yelled at me & Did not know how to provide information. I informed her on an emergency main valve leak and she did not care and said she couldn’t do anything about it, but put in a request and also did not know when they can come out to fix. There’s no time frame. She mentioned I needed to make sure this was a public works issue because they would not be able to do anything if it wasn’t. I asked how we confirm that it’s an issue they can handle and she said “ummm I don’t know I put in a request that is all I know how to do”. Condensing and illiterate tone. Just horrible.

Most utility companies are problematic in different ways but few are as awful and corrupt as LA County Waterworks. They over-bill and tack on astronomical fees knowing they can get away with it because there is no way to appeal to a third party or choose a different service provider.

Their website looks like an ancient design and skeleton of the initial start of websites. Their reset password function is flawed and doesn't work, and their water rates get higher by the year. Best thing you can do is move elsewhere and don't forcepay these clowns.

Horrible customer service! People in office offer to transfer you but disconnect you instead. And when you call to make payment and pay what it says they still disconnect and make you pay to reconnect along with making you wait all day even though you did by phone within 2 minutes of being disconnected. Its summer now and we only have swamp cooler on our house which needs water!!!
