High Desert Medical College

I did the LVN program here and the first two months were pretty rocky and frankly chaotic but then the faculty changed and they fixed all/most of the deficiencies in it that made it frustrating to be in. It is a program that requires A LOT of effort and commitment. Some people expect the school to hand them the certificate and it's not how it works. You get what you put in 100%. Other than that I found the faculty to be very supportive even with job placement.

Clinicals were also great, I'm confident with my skills entering the field. It does need some improvements but I heard they are working on it.

I will be taking the RN program in this school for sure.

I loved my teacher Miss Jeanette. She’s the dental assistant teacher for the night class and she changed my life. I wouldn’t have made it through that school without her. She also finds me countless jobs that pay really good, even after I graduated. She does for all of her students! If you are thinking about becoming a DA go with Miss Jeanette she’s an amazing woman!!!

Been to this school for ultrasound tech. It's an amazing school. All the teachers were super nice and very helpful my favorite teacher is brian Elliott. Hes so funny and has compassion.... loved going here.

The ultrasound program was a lot of fun! The instructors i had were amazing and really cared about their students. Brian Elliott and Ms. Mariam. Brian was amazing at teaching us about the machine and how it works and different techniques to help us get the perfect images.

Vocational nursing program student currently and I have your say it's an excellent program. Choose this college if you want quality professors and a college that advocates for the betterment of the student.

The pharmacy tech program has been one of my best experiences! Great instructors with great teaching skills. Guaranteed work!

I attended the ultrasound program. The only reason I even give two stars is because the INSTRUCTORS do know what they are talking about, and are amazing. The school and program as a whole is a joke. Administration is extremely unorganized, and it is so hard getting any information/records from them. The school is NOT ACCREDITED!!!! Despite what they tell you. Ultrasound programs require a specific accreditation to be eligible to sit for your registry boards. Find another school for ultrasound if that’s what you want to do.
