El Dorado County Library | Placerville Branch

I love it here. The staff is so nice, they are always ready to help and answer questions. They may not always have the book I'm looking for, but it's usually within the county, and it can be transferred within a few days at most. Other than that, the library offers services to help the homeless and people struggling with food insecurity. It's just overall an amazing place, and I'm grateful to live close to it!

I love this library! My kids & I come here often & they are always having cool, fun events! Here today for Comic-Con on a day they are usually closed! So much fun! Love this library & staff!

The ladies at the info/check out counter were more than helpful
They willingly guided me to the book section I was interested in. They also instructed me on accessing online audible books and Kindle books. Beautiful building and environment!

Great library with some of the most helpful people on staff willing to assist you with patience and knowledge that they are happy to share with you. Plenty of parking and hours that make it accessible to anyone regardless of their schedule. I highly recommend this library.

This is so much more than an awesome library in a beautiful park like setting, this is a community hub. There were multiple groups hanging out under the trees picnicking and practicing skills, there was a mobile unit offering free covid tests, there's free wifi, the women's restroom is stocked with feminine products, and there's an outdoor portapotty too for the groups that stay past closing. There seems to be a lot of community outreach happening here, and everyone I talked to was really friendly. Very chill atmosphere. Made me wish I were spending more time in the area instead of passing through. If I find myself in this region again I'll definitely come back. Worth a visit 100%

Just spoke with a very nice lady asking about IRS tax forms and just want to say that her phone etiquette is so wonderful. I can’t wait to go in and get my new library card!

We love the library. So many amazing services, excellent staff. Help for those in need and a welcoming place for parents with kids.

A beautiful yard for sitting outside when the weather is nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Frequent family activities! Great children's section! A fun place to take kids!

Librarians are always willing to help. They're doing their part to slow the spread. And the layout of the library has been redone and it looks Amazing. One of my favorite places to go.
