Absolutely LOVE this place! Delicious beer and food! Amazing service! It's family owned and they are truly genuine, kind hearted people! The sweetest! I always stop and grab a beer and some delicious BBQ on my way home from work. My favorite place to go!

What delicious BBQ! We greatly enjoyed our experience here. The ribs and chopped pork were absolutely delicious!

Great beer and excellent BBQ! Love they that have a great variety of brews available, along with a couple wines and a cider. The happy hour half order of nachos are plenty to share and the slow smoked tritip was fantastic. A wonderful addition to Placerville!

We just stopped in to try the beers and they are amazing, plus they have great food! They are family owned and operated. I've been looking for an excuse and found one, the Excuse Generator west coast IPA is delish!

This place has amazing BBQ. The “trisket” is almost too good; I forgot it was tri tip and thought I was eating actual brisket at first! The grits are perfect, the beers are great, and the atmosphere is awesome!

5 star is for personal preferences. Great beer, great service, great food. Kit and her husband do all the food and their kids brew the beer and run the taps. Family business and I can't recommend enough. The mustard vinegar sauce is very good 👌 I will be back very soon

The food looked good, we didn’t order any food but everyone around us you did looked like they were enjoying it. I got the cider which was really good, I don’t usually get ciders but I thought I’d try it and was very happy with the choice. My boyfriend got their west coast IPA and that was definitely up his ally.
10/10 would recommend and we will probably be back.
The cost was very reasonable for craft beer as well.
They didn’t have spurs but said they will be doing sours soon.

This is just what this town needed! The food is filling and comforting, and the beer selection compliments that. Major kudos to the chef, Kit and her husband for putting some major TLC into the smoked meats. James is very passionate and knowledgeable about the craft beer he helps brew. They have a wide selection of beautifully made drafts. Absolutely delicious!

Fairly small place, friendly family run with well made beers, and exceptional BBQ. Regular size plates are 1/3 lb and large are 1/2 lb. Would be good to add that to menu. We split a regular Almost Famous Trisket and felt it was enough with the 2 sides. Grits passed spouse's very particular standard. Coleslaw fresh crisp if a bit bland. Sorry forgot to get Borracho Beans!! Next time could add for $4. Will go back!!

Just went for the beer and wasn’t disappointed. Didn’t expect to eat but my buddy got the pork belly nachos and we were blown away. Then the woman who cooks it all came out with a sample of the “trisket” (INCREDIBLE) and explained how everything is homemade with love, including the amazing BBQ sauce. Great people, food and beer. Please support these guys.

Great little brewery with excellent beer and BBQ. Family owned and operated, you can't get more mom and pop than this. Go support your local breweries!

Is it a world-class brewery or smokehouse? It’s both! Great beers and amazing bbq. Ordered the nachos with smoked pork belly. Wow! Highly recommend giving it a try.

The food is great and prepared by such caring and wonderful people. Have a chat with them they are some of the most lovely people you can meet.

The food is off the hook! We had the Chopped Pork, Borracho Beans, Cole Slaw, Mac Salad & Smoked Jalapeño Poppers / Mom gave us a sample of the Almost Famous Trisket - OMG! - homemade Sauces - although not needed - do not pass them up - Mild / Spicy / Mustard Vinegar - Beers ! Of course it is a brewery, after all, they do not diss-appoint - Burned & Blackened Smoked Porter - Imperial Stout - Amarillo Session - (hubby had) If you haven’t been you really need to go!

The TRISKET lunch was just perfect. Great BBQ! And sides! My IPA was so good I had two...
