Chapel of the pines has been a wonderful company to work with in one of the most difficult times regarding the unexpected passing of my dad. I have worked with Heidi, and she has been so kind, thoughtful, supportive, and helpful. She has truly made this process so much easier to deal with. Thank you for all of the help you have given, and for treating my dad with so much respect and dignity.

My siblings and I unfortunately lost our mother and father within 6 months of each other and were referred to Chapel of the Pines by Snowline Hospice. As this was our first time having to make final arrangements, we were unsure of the process, but the staff treated us kindly and answered our many questions patiently. The program in place to create the contract was easy to use, it showed us the many options available on a large screen tv, guided by staff that was informative, helpful and in a non-pressure manner. Overall we feel we were treated fairly and that our parents were handled in a caring way with a reasonable cost. We did not hold a memorial service, however their onsite chapel is very pretty. The urns and paperwork are presented in a sturdy, heavy duty felted bag for transport. Thank you to Emily, Heidi and each staff member that help to create a caring and tranquil space at such a trying time.

Dignity staff (Heidi) was so welcoming when spoke after my loved one passed. She took care of everything. She was kind, empathetic, knowledgeable and professional. She felt like she was a friend. She put no pressure on us to do or buy anything we didn't feel we needed. We loved having her as our guide to everything!

The loss of a loved one is a very personal journey. There is tremendous sadness plus beautiful memories and so much love. At any given moment there are tears followed by an overwhelming sense of peace. Chapel of the Pines was the perfect choice for our family nestled in the beautiful foothill surrounded by the pine trees and nearby American River. The staff is professional, kind, understanding willing to be flexible and loving in your time of grief. Me and my family would like to thank all the ladies at Chapel Of The pines for their help with arranging everything for my moms cremation. They were all very helpful and explained every thing to us and we really appreciated it in this difficult time.

We lost two family members from different sides of the family, so we were quite overwhelmed. The staff at Chapel of the pines were so supportive and respectful, that it made making the arrangements a bit easier. Nicole was very professional and took the lead to make the process smooth for us. There were many suggestions she made and keep us updated as things progressed. Both Services were different and individualized, making this a 5-star review.

They were very informative, walked me through every step of the way. Ann went above and beyond to assist me in difficult matters. Everything turned out beautifully, and better than expected. My Mother would have been proud!

In a very difficult time, Chapel of the Pines had a friendly, professional staff that did not apply any pressure to make any purchases and really looked to give us the best experience for the decedent and his family. Not that I want to go back any time soon, but I would not hesitate to use their services again.

They did a very nice job with the photos we had for the Celebration of Life Service for my precious wife, Carmen. They were extremely helpful to the immediate family during this difficult time, and wanted to display some of her artwork during the Service for others to see. Pastor Joseph and Pastor Dave did a wonderful job preparing the service.

My Mom sadly passed. We are heartbroken. The staff at Chapel of the Pines, made a difficult situation bearable. They were compassionate and helpful, guiding us through it all seamlessly.
