The only florist I will hire for every occasion!!! Dottie and her family made our wedding completely breath taking! Two years later people are still talking about our flowers and many of our guest took home some of the succulent center pieces and have grown them into huge pieces. Dottie brought my wife peace in the middle of a hectic storm the week before our wedding. She took time out of her incredibly busy schedule to talk my wife off a ledge for over an hour from planning issues that were not even floral related. For this I am eternally grateful.

This woman is simply amazing! This shop was the best experience I had when we planned our wedding. She does it perfect and pays attention to every detail. You tell her what you want and she will deliver!!

I don't even know if I have the words to describe how gorgeous our wedding was because of CFS. Every aspect of the experience working with Dottie was amazing. Her kind demeanor and gentle direction allowed me to get the most beautiful flowers all within my budget. Not only was my bouquet uniquely me and absolutely stunning, but my tables and arch were an impeccably gorgeous sight that my guests are STILL talking about. I would never ever go anywhere else for florals. Thank you so much Dottie for making my wedding a day to remember!

When my husband and I were planning our wedding to take place at Rancho Victoria Vineyard ON 10/7/17 we found Camino Flower Shop after having to part ways with the florist we initially booked because of false advertisement and shady business practices. Dottie booked an appointment with us the same day and we drove up to Placerville to meet her. Walking into her shop felt like home for me. It smelled fresh, the atmosphere was full of love, and her team was bustling around happily completing their tasks. We are extremely organized people, down to the finest detail, and Dottie was the only person we trusted fully and gave creative liberty to. We gave her guidelines for our vision and set her free to use her decades of experience and create masterpieces. Every detail she touched was magic. I am a fortunate bride to be able to state that our day was perfect, and that Camino Flower Shop had a large part to do with that. The planning process had its ups and downs. But through it, we became more confident in trusting our intuition and knowing everything- and everyone-happens for a reason.
Camino Flower Shop was one of those positive intuitive moments. Our ceremony sight made my heart burst. Dottie took the wooden boxes we made and filled them, inspired me to make the wine barrel hoop chandelier, and helped us create an area that was balanced with our touches and hers. She took time out of her busy schedule (TEN FALL WEDDINGS IN ONE WEEK) to chat with me and provide guidance and comfort that good things come to good people and that she was excited about our floral. She expertly combined our succulents, and pompous grass, and added touches of manzanita, and moss. She even honored us and our "classy" touches of Halloween. The roses were beautiful, and she added touches of my other favorite flower- lilies. Her intuition is strong because I never mentioned that to her.
I will be forever grateful to you, Dottie. Thank you for all that you do.

I wish I could give Camino Flower Shop 10 stars. I have known Dottie for over 10 years through our mutual love of Vintage and have dreamed of her doing the flowers at my daughters wedding. Last Saturday that dream came true. The flowers were exactly what Katelyn wanted. The whole family is a team at this shop and they are a so creative!! I highly reccomend!!!

I wish I could give Dottie and her daughter Mattie more than 5 stars and here's why: Our venue we chose had redesigned their interior look from when we chose it (went from vintage to modern) and knowing how frustrating this was for us, Dottie and Mattie came in with so many ideas and decorated the interior to bring back its vintage look and warm feel that we had originally fell in love with prior to the venue's updates. This was something they did for us out of the kindness of their hearts in addition to the package we had already purchased. Not too many places would take care of clients like that but they did! I was blown away by how beautiful the place looked when I arrived! It looked amazing and the flowers smelled absolutely wonderful! We received so many compliments about our flower arrangements and how beautiful they were and how gorgeous the decorations were! I provided Dottie my pictures of inspiration along with a list of some flower favorites I had and my wedding colors. I met with Dottie twice to go over everything. I had seen some of her previous work and I loved it so I told Dottie to work her magic and create what she felt came to mind with my vintage theme and inspiration pictures I sent in! She even placed a small cactus in my bouquet (I love cactus) which I planted so i could have it forever! Thank you so much for making our day so special! From the Decor to the flowers! It was all so gorgeous and amazing!!! Thank you!!!

The best decision I made for my wedding was having the Camino Flower Shop do all of the flowers, decor and staging. Dottie is incredibly talented, she created the wedding bouquets of my dreams! I showed her examples of my wedding vision and she made my bouquets, wedding arch and other staged flowers even more beautiful than I could have imagined. Mattie and Ben (Cocomont) are equally as talented-- I had them do the decor/staging for my wedding and they truly made my vision come to life with lanterns, fairy lights, glass holders, gorgeous signs and of course my incredible floral chandelier hanging from the tent ceiling. Everyone complimented us on the beauty and tastefulness of the decor, and we owe it all to Dottie, Mattie and Ben. I 100% recommended them for your wedding or event... extremely happy with their work!

Camino Flower Shop designed the flowers for my wedding, and they were nothing but AMAZING! Dottie did an awesome job, everything turned out perfect and she met our every little need. Definitely the best florist in town!! I would highly recommend her for any wedding, special event, or just everyday flowers. Thanks Dottie for being so amazing, your work truly is the best! :)

Dottie is one of those people who REALLY loves what they do!! She can find the most perfect flowers at market and has an uncanny ability to create perfect arrangements, even when you are not sure what you want. Love this shop and would highly recommend you to visit when in town. This shop is a 10+++.

I just picked up center pieces and a floral halo here for my sister's bridal shower. 😊 Dottie is a true artist, and such a sweet lady! I highly recommend going here for your floral arrangements.

If I could rate with no stars I would. When my wedding planner called Dottie at my request to make a few minor changes, unfortunately Dottie lost all control and screamed and yelled at her. When the bride arrived to let dottie know what she wanted changed, again dottie lost all control and left the bride in tears.The last straw that led me to write this review instead of letting it go, when we arrived to pick up the flowers, we were told by DOTTIE HERSELF, if we wrote a bad review, it was ok because, she new every police officer in the county, ??? Not sure what that means.

My wedding was cancelled in April due to my fiancee going on hospice. My wedding was for June. No work was done on flowers. I paid a deposit of 750. I asked for part of my deposit to be returned. She refused. Said she wasn't concerned about my personal problems and was mad that I left numerous mssg on her business phone. Said I was lucky that she didn't charge me the balance of the deposit. That was unkind. Don't recommend this shop.

The most condescending person I have ever talked to. This place was recommended by my wedding venue for flowers and decorations. I called 2 months before my wedding and never got a call back. The venue had to call and make them call me.
Then the woman on the phone asked me what kind of flowers I liked I told her " hydrangeas, lilies, white Rose's ect." Then she said in the most condescending voice " oh sweetie.. those are all really expensive flowers..." I told her I can pay for the flowers I want and she tried getting me to get babies breath, carnations, and twigs... then demanded I come in that day because " I'm running out of time" I wouldnt have been short on time if she would have called me back the first time.. If I could give 0/5 I would.

Update: based on the response below. I reviewed based on my experience with this business. If I had a poor experience with a hotel or restaurant with trying to book I'd do the same thing. This just shows how unprofessional and disrespectful this business is. Instead of apologizing for being rude they do this... also I specific said that if my package with the venue wasnt enough for the flowers my husband and I wanted we were more than happy to book you guys separately, or upgrade. And all they wanted to do was give me cheap options.
