Locked my keys in my vehicle. The gentleman showed up in under 30 minutes and got my door open in a matter of 2 minutes.
He was super friendly and kind. He also made me an extra key right there on the spot.

I ran a business in Placerville for forty years, never realizing that the key place by Raley's did more than keys, and never found a locksmith I was really happy with or fully trusted. Now, at this late date I've discovered that Keys Plus does 'most everything and that they friendly, helpful people who will go out of their way for you. If you have any sort of lock related problem call here first.

Great place to get keys, get watch batteries, and get your watch band adjusted or sized to your specifications. Competent folks, great and friendly attitude; I'm a regular there now. Thanks

Once in a while you come across a place that people know there stuff, willing to help, such an important thing.

I was in a bad spot, loss the keys to my motorcycle.

Keys Plus of Placerville was recommended to me by a friend. Word of mouth recommendations are always the best. I was out of town at the time that my back door Multipoint Door/Lock mechanism broke. My daughter with her two little girls were staying at the house while we were out of town and suddenly had no way of exiting out the back door. I called Ernie at Keys Plus Placerville. He came to the house, disassembled the door system, and got the door open, then put the handles back on. I asked how much I owed him (ober the phone) and he told me we would settle up once we got the door fixed and I was back in town. This is a mechanism that has been discontinued, but he put the work in to find ways around it. Ernie has been patient with my travel schedule and a pleasure to work with. I would always recommend Keys Plus be your first call with all your lock and key issues!

I had to get my RV re-keyed, it was costly but the technician was professional, curtoious and quick. I was happy to have my stolen keys replaced and my ignition re-keyed as if it never happened. Thank you.

This is the place you're looking for. Fast, friendly, and competitive. There is a lot of gatekeeping when it comes to automotive keys and programming - not here. They can also duplicate keys, including my worn key that another shop could not cut for me. Fantastic

I have been going to this little shop for years for my keys (and copies in the past). They have always been very helpful and friendly. It has been just recently that I have found out just how knowledgeable they are. We have purchased two used "key-less entry" cars in the last few years. The cars each had only one FOB. I was able to get a second FOB for a reasonable price for the first one. Then the second one didn't even have an emergency entry key. I was able to get a replacement FOB and emergency entry keys for both FOBs. Thank you! ... I highly recommend this place for all your key needs because they are the best. I especially recommend them for the difficult things that need a real expert.

Went here to have mail keys made. The gentleman behind the counter made my keys perfectly, and also noticed that the key ring on my car keys was bent. He gave me a new key ring free of charge, and told me to have a great day. Fantastic customer service, and awesome attention to detail!

I called Wayne’s Friday at 4:30, and told him it wasn’t emergent, but urgent to change my locks. He was here in 40 minutes to do the job and said he’s regretted not doing them sooner for others in the past. He was quick, polite, professional, and the price was reasonable. Would highly recommend.

Supreme Service. Had a key cut and programmed for my 2012 Tacoma. This good old boy has great prices. Dont let the dealer charge you a mint, Keys plus is awesome.

I love this store I was looking for a special battery once and they had it .my friend needed one for her device so u sent her there also we both had solar devices they had the right battery

I had a dealer add a tailgate lock to my Toyota Tacoma. It worked for a while, then quit. Pete (the owner) at Keys Plus actually had to fabricate a part to make it work again. He had to spend a few hours on the project and only charged $65. The lock works much smoother now and has been working fine for over a year.
He and his brother Ernie were also a big help in checking measurements to get me the right parts to replace my old house door lock with a new programmable one.
One of their employees did a special grind of a worn key that had stopped working in the trunk of my car, making it just a hair wider to replace worn areas, and that's been working great for a couple of years now.
They can make a programmable "chip key" for about half what the dealer charges.
I go to them for all of my locksmithing needs now, haven't been disappointed.
