I had to edit the review because I was enraged waiting for a long time to be served, but when the time came, they were very knowledgeable, understanding, and kind. They eventually helped me get done what I needed after searching their bureaucratic tomes. Thanks Melissa, you are great!

Called to get a permit to remove a hazardous leaning dead oak tree that is on my own property that is threatening our house and was told there was no one available to talk to about it and it would be 1-2 weeks for anyone to even call me back on their call back list. They said maybe next week someone may be in the office to deal with it but I could not call I would have to drive to the Placerville office in person and insist on talking to someone and maybe someone would come out but then still could be weeks before I could get an arborist and permit to approve it. if I cut the tree down I will be fined.

The proposed 1,000 new homes off El Dorado Hills Blvd will decimate this area. The commissioners that DO NOT live in El Dorado Hills do not care about traffic in El Dorado Hills. They just want to steal our money to build fabulous off ramps in their areas. The off ramps at El Dorado Hills Blvd are ridiculous, but if you drive and take the Missouri Flat Rd exit this exit is amazing! El Dorado Hills must become a city to keep our money in our area for our use, NOT for commissioners in other areas to use for their constituents benefit!

I applied a permit for a exterior door. It has been over 3 month and still no answer since they can't get hold with Fire department. Worse planning department in US. What a waste of tax payer's money.

Terrible place to try and do business. They don't return phone calls, and don't do anything to promote development.
