So very pleased!! Finally this weather cleared and allowed my roof project to happen! The entire Richard Hockett team stuck by me and made it a reality! Woohoo!!

From the office with amazing Andrea, Nicole, and Richard to the install team of James, Scott, and Alex... everyone was top notch!

The roof is done, now I just need to get myself in action and update the porch rail and supports and paint me some trim. My job now ;) Can’t wait for it all to come together!

I've worked with Hockett on a previous roof fix and they performed great! Always go above and beyond. Couldn’t be happier.

I recently had a new roof installed by the amazing team at Richard Hockett Roofing. While my home is small, they treated it as a big, important job from start to finish. From the minute I spoke to Andrea and Nicole in the front office, I felt confident I’d come to the right place. My call was answered promptly and politely and when I visited the office to choose the product, I was treated very respectfully. The price quoted was very fair and the scheduled install was not unreasonably far out. When Kolby, Scott, and Alex finished the project, they left everything in pristine condition. Unfortunately, the following day the satellite company installed a dish in the wrong place, leaving holes in my brand new roof. Andrea got on the phone with the roofers and one of them came right back out and corrected the other company’s mistake. They didn’t even charge me which was way above and beyond excellent service. They said they wouldn’t be happy until I was happy. Well, I’m very happy! Great work Richard Hockett and crew!

I highly recommend Richard Hockett Roofing, they are honest, skilled, and experienced. The bid was a very good value, considering the excellent work they do. Richard did a very thorough inspection of our roof and **provided excellent pictures** to show us exactly what needed to be done and also pictures of the project step by step. The office staff, Andrea and Nicole were also super helpful. Mike did a great job on the roof, he was polite and thorough, including getting pictures of the project. It's wise to hire an experienced professional to fix it right the first time! *As my job was a repair, I was on stand by for scheduling, and it worked out great, they are definitely worth the wait -This company was a pleasure to work with! I will be using them for another job on our other house soon.

A really great experience! So good that I signed them up for a second roofing job! Andrea, in the office, is amazing. She is on-top-of-it!!! She is very an excellent communicator and kind as heck! On the job site were Aaron and Scott. Both were excellent and easy to work with. They cleaned up nicely and the roof looks amazing! A great job by all. What a fantastic experience with the Team at Richard Hockett Roofing!!
From my initial meeting, to the final repair of my wood stove stack. The wood stove installers had left the original cap/flashing and it started to leak right away. Hockett came in and reviewed the existing condition, put together their recommendations, and then readily fit me into their maintenance schedule. Just in time to avoid the driving rains!
Andrea is an amazing communicator (and absolute delight) and kept me informed the entire time along the way.

I have scheduled to replace my porch roof with them in the near future. Down the road when I need a total new roof, they will be the folks I call.

I should first say that I HATE dealing with contractors, handy people, etc... Despite that fact, Richard Hockett Roofing was GREAT! From initial contacts with office staff Andrea and Nicole... to the bid from Richard and Abigail...to the work that James, Austin, Scott, and Alex did...it all makes me want to give more than five stars! Not only did they get to my full re-roof a MONTH ahead of schedule, their communication with me was excellent, they got it done in the two days that they quoted (I initially thought "Ha! Yeh, sure!"), they charged exactly what they bid, the guys were a pleasure to have around, AND they left my property SPOTLESS (last roofers here cost me two quad tires). Also, they were the cheapest quote that I got (out of 5) that still had comparable materials and workmanship guarantees written into the contract.

Only critique = James and Austin's karaoke skills could use some work...but their current skill level DID make for a very fun walk to my truck as I headed off to work!

Richard and his entire crew were very professional and courteous. I got 4 bids on my roof job and Richard's bid was very competitive. Andrea in the office called me several times to keep me updated on what to expect. Kolby, the lead roofer/Foreman was excellent. Mike and James also went out of their way to be helpful.

My wife and I needed a new roof and received multiple estimates that ranged from $16,000 up to $20,000. for a 1700 sq. ft. roof. And that did not include any damage to deck (for those that don't know - plywood under shingles). We were just two ladies looking for a fair price and product that would withstand snowy winters.

Had my 30 year old roof (in Pollock Pines) replaced by Richard Hockett Roofing May 15-17, 2024. Complete tear off with new roof including seamless gutters, downspouts and gutter covers. Great experience. Richard gave us a fair estimate and helped us learn about our property. His quality and care extends to all members of his team. Andrea and Chelsea were consistent and timely in communicating with us. Kolby and James took extra time to help our new woodwork look exactly the way we wanted. Vince, Mike, James & Scott did a fantastic job tearing off the old and replacing the roof to our shop/shed! Very courteous, polite, professional and FAST. The entire experience with Richard Hockett Roofing from the initial bid (and we did get a few bids) with Richard through the coordination with Andrea and her assistant Chelsea, to the onsite management of Kolby was nothing but great communication and professional service. All the guys were polite, informative and tidy- always leaving our yard hazard free and clean of debris. All the guys, Vince, Mike, Ryan, James, and Scott were fantastic, polite, punctual and informative. Richards bid was dead on and reasonable. His company was referred by a couple of contractors that worked on our house as they either worked directly with him on jobs or followed his crew on jobs and their opinion was correct: for value, quality and professionalism, Richard Hockett Roofing was worth every penny.

We had a great experience with Richard Hockett Roofing after part of our roof blew off in the latest storm. Richard, Vince, Mike and Andrea were all great to work with, and we have a fixed roof! We definitely recommend!

Richard Hockett Roofing repaired and reshingled a section of my roof after an old leaky wood stove pipe was removed. Andrea and Chelsea were both very responsive to emails and phone calls to get the work estimated and scheduled. Kolby arrived at the scheduled time to inspect my roof and and come up with the repair plan.

Vince and James were at my house the very next day to complete the work before the next rain storm. They were very efficient in completing the project and left a very clean jobsite when they were finished.

The next time I need roof work done I will be using Richard Hockett again.
