Great hometown bar, the owners are super sweet and friendly and have really done alot to make it a nice place. They frequently have karaoke and themed nights including comedy and live bands. Food is pretty good too definitely check it out

Went and seen North of Detroit Saturday night. It was awesome, my first time there. Could have more staff taking drink orders away from the bar, but besides that, pretty nice. I'll definitely be back.

Pleasantly surprised! I will say when we walked in to eat i thought oh man. But I was wrong. The bartender was very nice and attentive. I got a bacon burger and it was very good. Bacon cooked nicely, the burger too, and the bun was toasted nicely. I would definitely come back!

This place is a hidden gem the food is good when they are cooking, the service is good the atmosphere is amazing they are always rocking out to some great music I have been going to this bar for almost four years now I know Tina and Gary personally I know Taylor that runs the bar and Vicki they have great tacos they have great salads and it's real close to my house I had a very shity experience at the Holly Inn bar and I will never step foot in that dump again if you're looking for great food great service and a great atmosphere this is the place to come

Tina and Gary always go above and beyond to ensure a great and safe night at Backroads! From opening the kitchen after hours to make me a snack to following me home to make sure I made it safely, I know that they genuinely care about me and value my business. Plus, they have great food and entertainment!!

I found this little spot based on this Google maps reviews which were very good and accurate too; the food was lovely, and the service was pretty good, overall friendly environment and a great place to stop by if you going to hit the slopes and go skiing at Mount Holly

A great place to grab a beer or any other drink and is a great atmosphere and the even do music and Karaoke

The food is good and moderately priced. Speaking as a musician, I was impressed by how hard the management is working to make thas a go to place for people. I simcerely hope for good things to come for this establishment. My compliments to the staff, who were particularly honest and helpful.

My favorite place to go with my fiancé! The burgers are amaaaazing and I love playing pool! Being open until 2 am is a huge bonus since I work until 11 pm. It's a great place to hang out and grab a bite to eat

I started going to Backroads 3 weeks ago when I found out they have the "World Tavern Poker". It's a league of TOTALLY FREE no-limit Texas Hold-em. We play on Tuesdays at 7:00 & 9:00. Usually we get 10 to 18 players, all just rank amateurs like you, and have lots of fun. There are different ways to win money or a seat at one of the televised $10,000 WSOP tournaments.
The food is some of the best around at a very good price. I loved everything I've had so far. Good people help make Backroads even better. A bunch of friendly people makes the atmosphere very pleasant.
Gary is working on the inside to perk the place up. (not that it's bad now). Vollyball and Trivia night give you more reasons to stop by.
Come on in and watch us play, or join up and play yourself. We'll help you get signed up. Be there early (6:30 or so) so we have time. We'll fill you in on the rest of the program. AND IT'S ALL FREE !!!!

Backroads bar and gril is a great place. Clean, excellent service and awesome food. First time there and I will definitely be making the half hour drive to go back for the food and weekend entertainment
