My food was amazing for my first time being there. Customer service was just awesome. I loved how she greeted me and how she talked. She was just so sweet and kind but I went at 3:00 PM on a Saturday and the cook told her not to take any more orders they were going on lunch well you should have a sign that says we’re closed from 3 to 4 for lunch and not yell out while you have customers just a food for thought but overall the food was a five out of five I appreciate it and yes I will be back.

This place has been on my drop-in list for forever and we made it today! Please note: EVERY dish is made fresh-to-order. So, we had a bit of a wait. Enough of a wait to see the brisk call-in orders coming through. Yup, we should have called it in. But they had a pleasant seating area to wait in. The chef took a 15-min break after us. So glad to see a local small business booming!

The original is excellent but that BBQ poblano was just amazing. Poblanos have such a bad rap; they are NOT spice, just a little bit of zip combined with the right friends. And don't let the photos fool you, the portion sizes are nice.

Had the time to understand the owner and the mindset. The chilli was good next i have to try the stuffed mushroom thats what I came for. The stuffed peppers was as posted over all the owner puts love in his food and we need that

I've been twice now and the peppers are delicious fresh and piping hot. The wait my first time visiting was about 45 minutes because he was working alone that is fine with me but when I went back I only had to wait 15 minutes because he hired some help for all his new customers coming to try out the place for the first time. This is definitely now my go to restaurant.

Personal service. When my food was ready coming back in I was addressed by my by name. The food was so incredibly good! The food was absolutely amazing and I'm sorry I was hungry it was delicious and I couldn't take a picture because I was that hungry the food was that good! My brother-in-law got a taco bowl and I got the stuffed peppers. We will be back!

Amazing food and service!!! The chilli cheese fries; black bean burger and Detroit Style pepper was so delicious! 🤤…we found a nee local spot that provide delicious healthier food that we enjoyed. :)

Love this place. The food is always good and it's truly prepared from scratch. Customer service is always good. I love seeing the pepper garden in front of the store. Very pleasant environment. Only place I will eat jack fruit from! Nobody else can cook it right in my opinion but this place. Food is always fresh.

Ordered takeout and everything we had was absolutely delicious from the stuffed peppers to the sides 😋 They also got a juice bar with plenty of healthy options!

We ordered a lot and it took about 45 minutes to wait for, so I would call ahead to order.

So much flavor and makes for amazing leftovers. Would order again 🤩 They are also black and vegan owned with no vegan upcharge (not even for the vegan cheese)!

I went this past weekend. I had not been there since 2021. Ahhh I was relieved that they still had great foods and great service. They are and have always been the most pleasant people. I am so glad Chimetime did a review on them a few weeks ago. I think that gave them greater exposure. My food was 45min-1hr wait and I didn't mind, I understood the process. They have increased in service and I was happy for them.

Food was fresh and delicious. I ordered two different types of peppers and black bean burger with vegan Chilli. I was very disappointed that my black bean burger was not in the bag. I live 50 min away. I would like to get my burger when I am back in the area. Mistakes happen.

Excellent food and service. The stuffed peppers were outstanding and well seasoned. The smoothies were fantastic as well. Service was top notch. Will be back!

I went there today at 3 o clock they told me and some OTHERS They Could not SERVE ME .ALSO THEY HAVE SO MANY CUSTOMERS FROM MR.CHIME REVIEW THEY ARE BACKED UP .YOU HAVE TO ORDER BY 10 AM PERIOD. HOWEVER I WAS ABLE TO TASTE THE CHILLY.CRAZY GOOD!!!! I’m GOING BACK FOR PEPPERS TOMORROW….

Please expand to Ohio...Everytime we go to Michigan, we stop here. I've never had restaurant food that cares as much as The Detroit Pepper Company. So much passion, so much pride and so much love in their food.

My stuffed peppers, soup and greens were all freshly made & perfectly seasoned! There are various vegan meal options and healthy but very tasty drinks! The staff was very friendly & welcoming, and there is other signature merch available for purchase. Carry-out & catering only. Street parking, or in the dollar store lot across the street.

🔥👍🏾 Unique and delicious (also great service and clean store:-). Whole new take on chili cheese fries - no guilt...bowl filled with vegetables and beans and real tomatoes and whole fingerling potatoes! Worth the trip from Ann Arbor.

Great food, generous portion sizes (left overs) and the owner was super friendly! Ordered the Chili Fries and Detroit BBQ Stuffed Poblano…delicious. Definitely going back!
