Cedar Dental

Dr. Ruggiero & his care team are absolutely amazing!! At the end of August I went to a different dental office in CR to get 2 dental fillings done but for over a week after getting them done, I had severe teeth sensitivity to the point were warm/room temp water, chewing food, and even the air burned where the fillings were done. I had a gut feeling something was wrong with the fillings but was completely dismissed by the other office as it being "normal teeth sensitivity" and nothing was done to fix it. I didn't want to leave it alone as it was completely uncomfortable and decided to find a new dentist office to help fix my problem. I made a consult with Dr. Ruggiero & his care team and confirmed my suspicion that the fillings were the problem as they were not done properly.

Dr. Ruggiero & his team helped remove the fillings done by the other office and completely re-did my fillings and they look so amazing, I almost cried in the office at just how much better they looked! My photo of the "before" (top) was done by the other dentist and the "after" (bottom) in the comparison photo was done by Dr. Ruggiero. The difference in quality of the fillings is very obvious at how badly the 2 fillings were done at the other dental office.

It has been about a week since I've had them re-done by Dr. Ruggiero and I have no sensitivity in those areas anymore and can eat & drink with no issues. I am so glad I trusted my gut and was able to find an amazing and caring dentist and dental team! I will be staying with Dr. Ruggiero from now on as they truly care about their patients and do an amazing job!

Dr. R Is a great dentist with an amazing bedside manner, he really put me at ease and was really good at talking me through my options. His staff is incredibly friendly. I suffer from severe anxiety and going to the dentist is not always the easiest for me. But the staff at cedar dental did a great job putting me at ease. I can’t recommend them highly enough

I am 70 years old and just finished 20 weeks of wearing orthodontic ClearCorrect trays. Wow...my teeth look great and I am very happy with the results! The monthly visits were easy and Dr. Ruggiero was very caring and concerned about how I was doing every step of the way. He made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Also, did you know your teeth continue to move as long as you are alive? That was news to me...so you are never too old to have nice straight teeth and a smile that makes you look younger! I highly recommend Dr. Ruggiero and staff at Cedar Dental.

Dr Anderson is very detailed, from numbing the area that's going to get a shot so you don't even feel it, to making sure everything looks and feels perfect.
Update: Dr Ruggiero and my hygienist are great as well! Thorough job and no pain afterwards.

The staff are so compassionate and understanding. I have very bad dental anxiety and they were extremely kind and accommodating. Only good things to say about Cedar Dental, Thankyou guys!

As a dentist myself, it's always hard for me to trust anyone with my own teeth. I have been going to Dr. Ruggerio since I moved to Iowa from NYC. I always feel like I'm visiting with a friend. The staff is wonderful and Dr. R is even more so! His dentistry and treatment planning skills are superb and you should never have to worry about being over treated (I didn't reveal that I'm a dentist till the end of the appointment!) He goes above and beyond to make sure he is offering the least invasive treatment.

I started seeing Dr. Ruggiero a while back. He has always been kind and well mannered. The work he's done for me has given me no problems, unlike other dentists in the past that have had to redo their treatment a few times. I strongly recommend Dr. Ruggiero to anyone looking for quality dentistry done by a caring individual.

I used to hate going to the dentist until I found Dr. Anderson and his staff. He has always been kind and when I had a cavity filled he did such a wonderful job that I didn't feel anything, NOT even the injection to numb the area.

They also never made me feel bad about the extended time I went without a dentist before becoming their patient. Nobody wants to be lectured about what they already know and have anxiety over. The hygienist was understanding and sympathetic of my previous experiences at different offices. She simply offered to schedule my next cleaning/check so we could get into a good routine. I haven't had a problem since.

I no longer feel anxiety prior to my appointment. I know I'm in good, gentle hands with Dr. Anderson and the rest of the staff.

Dr. Ruggiero is an awesome dentist!!!! My entire family goes to him. We couldn’t be happier with him and his staff. His approached is conservative, he’s gentle and I appreciate that. I recommend him 💯. I had a filling replaced, and during the numbing part I never felt the poke. I was so happy 😁 🙌🏼

Dr. Ruggiero is hands down the best dentist I have ever encountered. Going to the dentist or getting any dental work done used to be my biggest fear. I was one of those people who believe, “if it’s not broken, don’t fix it,” so I would only go to when something was hurting. I finally got the courage to go for a check up, and Dr. Ruggiero changed every stereotype I have ever believed about dentists.
He and his team are so caring and thorough with their work, they make you feel like family. I would (and will) trust Dr. Ruggiero with any of my future dental work.

One thing that stands out from my experience with Dr. Ruggiero is that I truly felt cared for. I was sure I was in the hands of a Dr whose primary concern is my well being and what's good for me. He was very informative and clear in explaining the flaws with my teeth and the different options I had to fix them, which made the experience very educational and entertaining.
Look no more for another dentist, he has it all!

I have been very impressed with my experience at Cedar Dental. I have had some trepidation about seeing dentists in the past, but have been so pleased with the care I have received from Dr. Anderson and his staff at Cedar Dental. They are great to work with, it's easy to schedule appointments, and Dr. Anderson is straightforward and professional about what needs to be done. He doesn't try to do extra work just to increase his bottom line. I trust him and know that he has my best interest in mind. Before coming to Cedar Dental, I had gone 2 years without seeing a dentist, so I was glad to find Dr. Anderson and his staff. It's been a very positive experience and I refer them to anyone that I know that needs a dentist.

I am a very happy patient. I asked him to replace an restoration on my front tooth that I
chipped many years ago. I am very satisfied with the results. It looks perfect. When I showed the results to one of my dentist friends, she said “He did GREAT WORK! Matching a single front tooth is one of the toughest aesthetic cases.”

I have only seen Dr. Ruggiero a few times as a patient but I can confidently tell you his work is phenomenal. I was referred to him by a good friend of mine, Kodi. The first thing she said to me was that I wouldn't regret the choice of choosing his office and she was absolutely correct. If you're looking for someone who cares, is competent in his work, and doesn't mind a few jokes now and then, do yourself a favor and choose Dr. Ruggiero.

Dr. Anderson & his staff are phenomenal. Dr. Anderson always recommends the course of treatment that he feels is best for the patient and the least invasive. He even fit me into a tight schedule when I had my wisdom teeth out at a surgical center and suffered some damage to another one of my teeth. I used to hate going to the dentist but I would recommend Cedar Dental to anyone that is looking for a new dentist.

I have been a patient of Cedar Dental for about 19 years now. I had not hand any dental work prior to this for 15 years out of fear of dentists and pain I had experienced as a kid. Dr Anderson and Dr Milden have fixed all the neglect with crowns, bridges, fillings and extractions and not once gave me any fear or pain! I have not had any problems with the work that has been done either. Excellent work! They are very professional and very talented at what they do! I am very grateful to them for saving my teeth. I recommend Cedar Dental to everyone I know!

I had an emergency on my short visit to cedar rapids and I called Dr. R’ office and He got me in immediately. He was friendly and very skilled. He definitely raised the bar for my next dental appointment at home.highly recommended.

Like many, I'm not a fan of going to the dentist. However, after going and having had Karen as my hygienist, I now walk out smiling and don't mind going every 6 months. Dr Milden has a great personality!

I had my last dental appt at Cedar Dental with Dr. Milden and Karen, the dental hygienist. It was very professional and Karen did a very good job (as usual) for the preparatory work. This was on Friday, Nov. 3 , 2017 and my 8 months check-up. Dr. Milden (as usual) gave a very thorough check-up of my teeth and both he and Karen are very friendly. Will hate to see Karen retiring at the end of this year. Pat Day
