Rahim's was awesome!! Couldn't find any other place in Carbondale with authentic African attire. They also have books, paintings, and beauty products. Great service and great prices. I will definitely be back!

Mr Rahim is a knowledgeable man! You get a history lesson, a chuckle AND the products you came to buy. If the door is locked do NOT leave! Call the number posted on the door and he will be right there. He is right up the street! He has the shampoos and oils you need for natural hair. He also carries wigs and loose hair for braiding.

I love this store ! Rahim is fun, and if he doesn't have what you want he will get it!

The staff was very kind and helpful. My four-year-old fell in one of the aisles and the man behind the register ended up giving her a package of gum on our way out for her trouble 😔 I thought that was very kind😇 oh, and they have a nice, varying selection of products

We hadn't been in Rahim's in a long time. We found what we needed. While checking out, we noticed the designer purses. Mr.Rahim gave us a discount for being good customers. He's always caring & friendly. We enjoyed our visit!

If ur looking for white girl hair this isn't for you. I was looking for white girl wig. Had 2 to choose from, neither an option bc no brown...only red & blonde.
Owner patient, not familiar w everything he's got, textremely reasonable when it comes to price. That's y I'll go back for anything other than hair.
