Victory Dream Center

Victory is a ministry with the heart of Jesus. They selflessly minister to, serve, and welcome those who are the fringes, who are down and out, rejected, and hungry. Their bi-weekly food pantry is the largest I've seen in southern Illinois and is conducted with love and respect. Pastor Nathan Cherry clearly runs the pantry with the grace of the Holy Spirit.

They have an amazing food pantry and everyone is so kind.

God has really blessed this Church. This sunday will be my 5th time attending service since I've been in Carbondale IL. Holy Spirit lead me here. Amen!

Victory Dream Center has been a life saver for me. Their food pantry (currently on Wednesday from 1030am to 12pm and Sundays 1pm to 2pm) has kept food in
the house when there wouldn't have been otherwise. Much love to everyone there for all that they do for me ,❤

Great place to go a meet all of the lost bible relics from the past and present. Homeless it's the place to speak shelter. Very wonderful helping hands. Thank you and God Bless Everyone that has been left out in the cold and in the rain a time or two, two many. We might be a little rusty but we still get up and go go go and we are the bible relics and ancient Egyptians from way back when. We are truly older than dirt because we come from that sand. The sand man was not just made up. Neither was the man in the moon. It's really true people and case events. Oris the father of death and AMEN or sun goddess is truly what you need to know about where we are today. If you would ever take the time to look around you would know this is no where USA. It's not that at all. Sit down and talk to me sometime I will teach you all a thing or two about where we are. Egypt and Egyptian start there. I'll lead the fight. I'll take you where you have never been. I'll take you on a journey of the bible start to finish. Just ask me and I'll tell you straight from my heart. Everything in this world is made up and most everything is a lie. One day you will open your eyes and go. OMG. Who am I? I am OMG I'm alive and well from the bible. Surprise. So am I! Boo the King!! Bless these folks, I've known about them for several years, and they are super, wonderful, kind, and warm folks!

They feed a l-o-t of people! Unfortunately, this is the only grocery store option, that many who come here, have!

I'm not to proud to say, i was one of them.

This is a wonderful church. I was a passerby of Carbondale, living there for about 5 months. During that time, I attended a few services. It's not perfect, but if all you're looking for is a stellar worship experience, every time, then you're probably missing out anywhere you go... But I did feel moved by the spirit here. Pastor Doug is a ray of light, he truly is. His whole family (that I met) is! He's got a smile that never quits and Nathan is a peach. What's truly special about this church is the love that it produces, the love that can be felt! It's an active church that helps its members and reaches out to the community, in a way that I've never witnessed before, and I've been to dozens of churches, all throughout the country. This is a church for the people. God's people. Filled with love for the needy, the hungry and the hurting. It's genuine and it's real. I'm so happy I got to experience it! Thank you for that! <3

I love the Cherry family.They have been a blessing to our town since the decided to save souls in southern ILL I've grown healthier spiritually and physically because the good Cherry's not only bring people's spirits into good health,but they have handed out massive tonnage of food to the needy as well. Doug cherry and his family ALL partake in the joy of giving all they can give to help in so many ways our community here.I would do anything for their victory center if ever called Apon. There has never been a more generous and blind giving of so much to Carbondale The Cherry's are by far the most Christian like " church " that I've ever had the blessing to be a part of. Come as you are. They are not judgemental AT ALL. TRUE TRUE TRUE ..... ...... GOOD, LOVING,AND COMPASSIONATE PEOPLE THEIR ENTIRE STAFF IS. THE SONS IF DOUG CHERRY AS WELL AS HIS DAUGHTERS AND WIFE ALL GIVE FREELY FROM THEIR HEARTS. THEY ALL PREACH THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST IN A MOST MOVING AND NO NON SENSE WAY THAT EACH SERMON I AM NEARLY BROUGHT TO MY KNEES WITH THANKFULNESS AND APPRECIATION THAT GOD OUR FATHER HAS BLESSED US ALL HERE IN S.I. WITH SUCH GOODNESS AND COMPASSIONATE TEACHERS OF THE LIVING WORD IF GOD IN HEAVEN !!!!!!!!

Great food pantry and they leave food outdoors afterwards for people to pick up!

They are amazing at making people feel at home. They are all about helping those in need without making you feel like you are a burden.

They are a great and giving Church! Food Pantry, Youth Services, rides etc..... They are the best and soo Caring!

Everyone is friendly & goes above & beyond except for one arrogant member of the church. I see him every time I'm there & he's very mean. He's got dreads & an attitude
