We are celebrating Arbor Day at the Arboretum. The trees are beginning to show green, so it won't be long before we see the beautiful crab apple trees in bloom. Don't miss this! Late april/Early May.

Amazing place to take the whole family. Nice, smooth crushed limestone path that is easy for all ages and abilities. At the entrance, there are drinking fountains for adults, kids, and for our furry four legged friends. Over 250 different species of trees all labeled with plaques for identification. Toward the south part of the loop there is a butterfly garden where we saw several monarchs. There is also a bathroom located near the garden for when nature calls. If the walk proves to be a bit long, benches are placed along the path for a nice break and a chance to enjoy the scenery.

Beautiful and well kept park. Lots of choices from camping to hiking the arboretum. Upper park gates closed vehicles and picnic tables are not available except in the shelter.
