El Taquito Mexican Restaurant and Bar

Love this place has been my favorite as far back as I can remember. The food is amazing the service is outstanding and it's just an all around great place to go rather you're going as a family or as a couple or even by yourself. Love it

The service was extraordinary. Niko was our server and he was knowledgeable of the food and drinks. He recommended Parrillada Mixta, Queso con Chorizo, the Guacamole, the Mango Margarita. Thank you Niko for the recommendations. Love it! The restaurant is hidden in the back of the shopping place but not hard to find because the building is a big with plenty of parking lots. The interior is cozy and charming . The restaurant has a family vibe. The manager was very attentive with his clients . Overall, I Love the food, the attention and the place.

The food was hot and fresh, and if you leave here starving, it's your own fault because their portions are huge. Well worth the visit.

Used to eat here when I was younger before they moved buildings, it wasn't the same to me in the new place, the older place was one of my favorites in town. This time around I fell back in love with El Taquito. Our awesome server Eddie helped make it that much better, treating us with kindness and care, it was an amazing experience. He was very attentive and professional. I ended up with Al Pastor even though I didn't know they had it, just asked Eddie and he let us know they had an was pleased to get it for me. The spice and flavor of their Al Pastor is some of the best I've had, definitely make it just right. Plus, Eddie having been a bartender for 13 years or more making my margarita, it ended up way better than I expected. If you're looking for some awesome service and great Mexican food especially some traditional style stuff, just ask, then I suggest checking this place out. Ask for Eddie.

I've eaten here several times and always had excellent service and food. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Livingston! Margueritas are excellent too!

Waitstaff a little too interested in their phone... but food was good

Tonight was the best it's ever been. The margaritas are always good but tonight they were right up there with some of the best we've ever had. The new menu had us interested in trying something new, the mini- street tacos, I had pork and beef, were so good. This is absolutely the best they've ever been. Change is good. 👍

Our server, Carla, was wonderful! Her recommendations were spot on! First time I have not needed to greatly modify a margarita I ordered out because this was perfect!! From the Queso Flameado with Shrimp to the Tres Leches, all of our food was delicious!! Go & treat yourself to something extraordinary!!

This place is hidden back behind a strip center and a car wash. We have driven past it for many years, never stopping. We were Googling restaurant options the other night and it was one of the options. We found it (after having to back up on the shoulder to get to the correct driveway) and it was great. The food and the drinks were great. We will definitely go back, and take friends. Just my .02 cents, the owner/manager should update/add to the sign with a little info on where they are. I have thought for years that they used to be in the strip center, but didn't exist anymore.

Not only was the food super duper delicious and fresh but the customer service here is phenomenal. The waiter made sure I had everything I needed at all times and was super polite. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who lives near by or anyone across the world visiting the area.

Excellent food and wait staff! Only draw back is the only draft beer they have is Bud Light. However they make up for it with cold bottled beers.

This is definitely a hidden gem. The restaurant is always semi quiet, but their food is always on point. The staff is attentive, dont forget to ask them for the green salsa. It's pretty good.
