Banfield Pet Hospital

I'm so surprised by the amount of negative reviews because this is one of the more caring Banfield Hospitals I've been to. The staff are so calm and welcoming. As someone with a geriatric pup, they took so much care with her. Dr. E is very, very thorough, detail-oriented, and explained everything about our dog's appointment today. Even the front desk staff are very welcoming. They also had many other senior dogs that day coming in, so that made me feel a lot better bringing my old doggo in for the first time. Again, very thorough and I really appreciated the level of time and care they gave to my baby during her comprehensive. Definitely coming back.

I had a dog that would get horrible rashes. We went to three different vets before this one and no one could figure out how to stop the rashes. This was the first one that was able to help our sweet baby!!! They’re so knowledgeable and helpful here! And the staff has treated the rest of our animals with so much care as well, you can tell that they care. I will say, you can’t go inside with your pet cause the clinic is small, so that took some getting use to. But we will only go here now!

Staff is friendly and professional and the doctors are amazing. Best veterinarian that I have taken my dogs to. Very knowledgeable and you can tell they care about the animals

I'm unsure why this place got bad reviews. Racism? I saw none of that on my way in. They were wonderful to my new kitten Stormi when i took her in for a first examination an gave me as much helpful information and advise as possible. All I received were friendly faces and good customer service!

Omg my cat its my baby and they treat him like a prince!

Have been with Dr Itenson for over a decade at least and have always felt like family. They treat our pets as our children and give us the best care everytime.

Took my puppy for her first ever visit. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. They took great care of her and answered all of my questions concerning her health and well-being. I would recommend them to anyone with pets.

One of my favorite places cuz it's convenient on the inside of PetSmart but they never answer the phone if they could just get someone to man them phones it'll be great but my doggy loves going there and I love the way they take care of my dog

This place is terrific. I trust them fully with my fur-baby. my dog received some fairly extensive surgery there and they treated her with the upmost care. They give excellent care and terrific customer service. They always call with follow-ups and reminders. I highly recommend them!

We took our 19 yr old kitty in for a checkup as she was not eating normally. Even though we were not regular customers, they treated us as if we had been coming to them all along. We learned that our kitty was very ill and was in kidney failure. They were very supportive. When we had to make the difficult decision they were there for us. They treated us like family. I cannot say enough to praise the doctor and staff for their compassion in our time of grief.

Wonderful experience! My dog has always gone to the Banfield in Cary but we have relocated to Wake Forest. I wanted to transfer her to this location but did not think her first visit there would be an emergency/sick visit. They were so wonderful and the customer service was amazing! They made me feel so much more relaxed in a time of uneasiness. They were extremely patient with the many questions I had about my dogs diagnosis of a long term illness and what we needed to do to treat it. I was considering canceling my plan at the renewal time and transferring to a different vet but I will be sticking with them instead!

I really credit every employee that not only works at Banfield but also within the PetSmart at this location for saving my dogs life!!! Went in for a normal drop off appointment earlier this week and my pup slipped out of her harness and SPRINTED to the front doors through the store. They reacted so quickly and were able to let the cashiers at the front know to close the front doors so she could not escape. The cashiers closed the doors and guarded them and I also give credit to the shoppers for trying to catch her before she got to the doors. She wears a Ruffwear harness but has really bad anxiety so she somehow wriggled out of it and went free. If it weren’t for the Banfield employees yelling “close the doors” and for the prompt actions of the PetSmart cashiers and store personnel, my dog could have easily run into the street outside. Plus all of the employees were so friendly and understanding and took the best care of my Luna!!! Thank you thank you thank you a thousand times!!!!

They also seem to be very thorough with the visits.

The staff is amazing, they treat your pet like it's their own. When my dog had an allergic reaction and I brought him there they took him in right away, I didnt have to wait even one minute. This means alot because waiting even one minute could mean the difference between your animal being ok or not.

The folks at Banfield in WF are spectacular. I have always had an excellent experience and I have been there many times. The Wellness Plan pays for itself in no time and is well worth it. They treat my puppies like their own and are always happy to see us. The folks at the counter are awesome, the Vet Assistants are awesome, and the Vets are awesome. I highly recommend these folks!

So far I love Banfield. The puppy program for vaccines is so affordable, and when our puppy had diarrhea, they did not have a appointment available until 2 days from now,. As a concerned pet owner, I asked what to do and Amber was very helpful telling me what medication/vaccines our dog got and was due for, and what to do to help with his upset tummy. Also, I called 15 minutes before closing and they were so sweet on the phone and didn’t rush me off. Thank you Banfield!!

WARNING!! I reclaimed an abused cat from a friend, This cat was abused and neglected, they were told not to let anyone know she was there, she was two years old and had never been to a vet in her life. WHEN HE CALLED LOOKING FOR HER THEY TURNED HER BACK OVER TO HIM. The vets were shown her environment and still turned her over to him.

Never have an issue here, docs are knowledgeable and willing to do what they can to save you some money while taking immense care of your pet.

Outstanding care for our first visit to this location. Everyone was very patient and accomodating with our very stressed dog. We are on the monthly plan and this was a better visit than any of our other visits at our previous location.
