Hunter Street Park

Great place for soccer, skateboarding and baseball. A small picnic shelter with restrooms are nice addition. Thanks to Apex town for efficiently planning this park in the midst of busy downtown and office / retail buildings nearby. Plenty of parking.

Apex is such a great town. Here's the July 2023 Chalk the Walk for the 150th anniversary of Apex, hosted by the town. Lots of fun loving people having a great time, and some really impressive works!

One of the best parks in the area! So clean and so much to do! They have shade over the tables so no matter how hot it is, the seats won't be too hot! My kids loved it@

I love the path around the park for walking or running!

It has a huge gazebo above the kid's playground. Awesome!

Great turf field for pick up on evenings. Skate park on the other side is great. Park is always clean, plenty parking.

Apex has done a great job building Hunter St. Park. There is a skate park, nice turf field, play ground, dog park and baseball field. All always seem very well kept. The bathrooms are also kept clean and there are water fountains in a couple places in the park. My family always enjoys using Hunter St park! Nice work Town of Apex! Even years later after it's been open and used and we're still impressed with how the park is kept. We continue to enjoy this facility even after moving 20 minutes away.

Very nice turf field. Good bathroom facilities. Also has a large dog park and skate park. There is a walking path to get some exercise while waiting for your child's game to start and a pkayground to entertain younger siblings. Nice place for a soccer game.

I enjoy the 1/2 mile track, has good elevation changes to make it a good workout. The skate park is really nice. There is a turf multi-purpose pitch. It has both lacrosse and soccer goals with multiple sets of each. The restrooms are well kept with soap and running water. There is an adult softball field that has a great drainage. The Town of Apex does a great job on the upkeep. The dog park is across the street from the athletic fields with good fencing and a separate space for small dogs. The parking is plentiful. There is also a good number of picnic tables under a covering near the jungle gym.

Pup loves it. Great room to run. Be prepared for mud if you have a water lover and a digger. The area where they fill up the water bowls can be a mess; but its summer and its hot so let them live their best lives!!🐕🐾

2017: My dog loves this park. Maintenance could be little better but good place with friendly ppl and dogs

Update 2022: the park has been changed a lot. Mulch is replaced with sand and its beautiful now. Clean and maintained

Fantastic park area in downtown Apex, NC.
The dog parks are perfect for your furry friend and there is a skate park, a soccer field and baseball field.
Now with the addition of the July 4th fireworks. This park gets even more usage.

Nice, clean restrooms. Perfect place to eat under shelter. Monitored 24 hours by Apex police. Eautiful soccer fields and play area for the younger children as well. Ni e walking areas. Recommend.

Playground is an ideal height for smaller children. Includes monkey bars that are about 4' tall. Located next to baseball and soccer fields.

This playground is fenced in, with infant swings, multiple slides, a play structure that is suitable from walkers to probably 8 yrs old. There are benches to sit on, a shelter with bathrooms and picnic tables, but no shade on the actual playground. There is drink vending. Grassy areas give room for spread blankets and the best part: no sand boxes! Ha

Great dog park, skate park, and baseball/soccer fields. Sidewalks for short walks, but no shade. Dog park has half shade in the morning, but be warned that late in the day there's no shade for people or dogs.

You can't beat the price of an annual membership or the location of the Hunter St. Dog Park. It is within walking distance of my house, so we use it all the time! Tired dog, happy dog mom!!
