Noopur Goel, MD Rheumatologist

Dr. Goel is one of the most caring, compassionate, receptive, and helpful doctors I've encountered. She engages her patients and listens to their concerns, without rushing them or making assumptions. She thoroughly reviews treatment options - clearly explaining risks and benefits. I would without reservation highly recommend Dr. Goel and her practice to anyone who is seeking care.

My wife has been seeing Dr Goel since June of this year. We’ve seen Dr Goel 3 times now. She is amazing! Fantastic at explaining things In very common terms, very patient and listens! Our first appointment she spent over an hour, mostly just listening! At that appointment she solved a side affect of one of our RXs! We like how she partners with us to solve one key “issue” at a time. Listen, order labs and tests , diagnose, game plan…then on to the next “issue”. Baby steps with compassion, encouragement, and skill! Love her brand new office and Jessica at the front desk! Wonderful private (not corporate) practice! We are thrilled Dr Goel is our RA doctor! I was diagnosed with RA when I was 3 and let me tell you, I've been through a number of Rheumatologists in the last 30 years and boy is it hard to find a good one!
Dr. Goel actually LISTENS to you, and offers a variety of treatment options. She's knowledgeable and caring and is willing to continue trying new things if other options don't work as well. She isn't judgemental and she's compassionate about your struggles with chronic health conditions.
I love her availability with scheduling as well, though I don't think that's going to last long.

Dr. Goel has been so compassionate in her care for me. She listens to everything I say and tries to find solutions that truly help. I love how she wants to to incorporate healthy lifestyle changes as well as medicines to heal the body, instead of medicine only. There is a shortage of rheumatologists in NC, so I drive 2 hours to been seen by her, but it is definitely worth it!

Dr Goel is very knowledgeable, thorough and compassionate. She listens carefully, explains options and answers questions specifically and thoroughly. Her understanding
of the way RA impacts and interacts with other medical conditions and areas of life has been very helpful to me these last six months.

She is a great doctor. Clear, confident, to-the-point, and informative. We left her office with zero dubt remained in our minds.

She listens and is prepared for your visits- she has read your record and actually knows what was going on with you your last visit. I want to give her 0 stars so that her practice doesn't grow and it becomes too hard to get appointments lol - she is great!

I experienced a sudden and very painful onset of rheumatoid arthritis. My GP referred me to Dr Goel and I'm really glad she did. After initial testing, Dr Goel put me on a treatment regimen that also relieved the whole-body pain I was experiencing. Dr Goel listens very well, offers alternatives, and is willing to discuss any concerns the patient has. I highly recommend Dr Goel to anyone suffering from this type of disease.

Finally! Someone who is taking my pain seriously.

Met this doctor a few weeks ago. She was quite dismissive of my conditions. She didn’t ask anything about my conditions, just wanted to know my goals. Basically, I paid her to go to her office so she could make a mockery of me and not understand what I am going through or provide solutions or feedback or any direction. She should definitely not be anywhere near the field of patient care.

literally the worst doctor i’ve ever seen in my life. i am suffering from horrible, debilitating symptoms of lupus only to be told that it would take 3 weeks for a blood test to come back to determine if i “have” lupus or not even though i have literally every symptom of it and the doctor would not help me in any way. she was quick to collect her payment when i walked in the door, only to tell me about 10 minutes into my appointment that i should go to an emergency room to get help for my ailments. all of these reviews on here are fake, i do not believe that this doctor is competent at her job at all for how i was completely dismissed today. i left the office sobbing and their attitude was “too bad” after promising me over the phone when i made the appointment that they would help me seek immediate relief for my horrible suffering. disgusted and would never recommend anyone to this doctor for any sort of medical care at all. i should’ve thrown $250 in the garbage or lit it on fire honestly, it would have made me less upset than seeing this woman.
