Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries

Just discovered their salad. Grilled chicken Cobb Salad is jammed packed with goodies and real bacon. I substituted their Thousand Islands dressing with Catalina French dressing.

Each Tuesday they do a theme! And they gooo all out! They dress up and it is so so so much fun! The food is awesome too!! They even have this little robot thing that DELIVERS your food!!! Whattttt!!!??

Shakes are awesome! They have a daily flavor!!!

I stopped by here for lunch and was pleasantly greeted at the door with a HWY 55 waitress opening the door for me. The team working was very friendly and welcoming. I sat at the table bar and was waited on by Emily. Emily gave me a sample of strawberry cheesecake ice cream when I sat down and it was excellent. After taking my order the food arrived in a flash. The french fries were great and it seemed better than my previous visit. They had the right amount of salt and flavor. I ordered a Big American Double Cheese burger with the fries and a diet Pepsi. Emily asked if I wanted bacon so I added that also. While sitting there eating I got a front row seat of how a restaurant should be ran. The lady managing the store was keeping this team running like a fine tuned machine. As soon as she seen someone approaching the door she would alert the employees to make sure they opened it for them. She went back and fourth to the front of the dining room, to the drive thru window, and the kitchen to make sure everything was running smoothly. The employees worked together picking up where they needed to reduce time for customers. I told the waitress Emily that I wanted to get some of the ice cream she gave me a sample of when I arrived. While she was punching the extra order into the computer another employee overheard me ordering it and immediately to my surprise started making it. As soon as the order was placed the ice cream was sat in front me. The ice cream and the food was great but what made all this great was the service. The service at this restaurant is Chic-Filet quality or better. This must have been the feeling Ray Kroc felt when he visited his first McDonalds in California. I applaud the effort and I am sure many other do also. That is the reason the parking lot and inside the store is filled with customers daily. Thank you!

I had Emily as a waitress super sweet and helpful too! Brought samples of the icecream flavor of the day strawberry cheesecake!!! Definitely recommend this location and Emily.

Service is good, but you're not going to get checked on every five-ten minutes like some people expect. If you drink a lot, your small cup will go empty! If you don't care about that, you get a great old school diner feel and yummy burgers! Try the ice cream flavor of the day!!

Such a great experience! The staff was on point and moving fast as every table was packed full. This is the first Highway 55 I have seen with a drive-thru which is also cool. The best part, the machine that brought your food! Will definitely be going back for some good old diner food.

Was a really nice new location. They had the cool robot bring out our food. The staff was super friendly. Everything inside was very modern and clean. Great for lunch.

Let me state that we love Hwy 55, and having one close to us is great, especially when they have all their stuff together. There have been times it was not a good visit, nor a visit worth repeating. We have been in there when an employee cussed out the manger, quit and left. We have been in there when our order is completely wrong, and there are nights, like tonight where everything was great! (Only compliant I continously have, is the servers writting on the lips of the cups. Nasty!) We wont ever give up on Hwy 55.

DO NOT GO THROUGH THE DRIVE THRU. 3rd time through the drive thru, 3rd time our food has been royally messed up. Called the store, thought we were good. Go to at least eat my concrete... nope. Screwed 2 of 3 up, after they had to be remade at the store. Its one thing if they forgot they ketchup on my hotdogs, but to put EVERYTHING on them, cold, freezer like fries and no custard. Not happy. No more drive thru for us. And if you use it.. Check your order before you pull away. 9/15/21

When Hwy 55 used to be Andy's, we used to eat there every Friday, and every Tuesday after class. So I was so happy to find out they were coming back. A little different but the same place. Food is good, atmosphere is amazing, and its like they never left, Just missing James and his beautiful wife!! Keep it up!!!

We had a VERY large party come in with no real warning to them. We had 3 different checks and 3 waiters/waitresses, 1 long table, baby in a highchair and a booth. All just for us. And omg, the staff here was so sweet and attentive. Drinks and food came so fast and everything was correct.

We had just come from a very sad family event and coming here for lunch, breaking bread and having laughs was just what we all needed today. So thank you, Lillington Highway 55! You guys are rockstars!

This place is awesome, great food and the staff is amazing!!!! Shot out to our waitress Alyssa, she was amazing!!! They have a pretty cool robot that brought out our food!!!

You can tell I couldn't resist digging in as soon as possible.

The triple cheeseburger I had was really good. The beef was seasoned perfectly, the bread was good, and the toppings were fresh. The fries were also quite good.

Also, it was quite amusing how the food is delivered by what amounts to a serving tray with wheels on it.

Finished my food with a smile on my face.

But the one gripe I have is with the non-responsive waitresses. God, the amount of times we had to attempt getting their attention drove us crazy.

Tabitha was truely AMAZING, She is definitely an employee who deserves a raise. Really appreciate her hard work and service.

One of the new store designs. Prompt service. Food was great. Their robotic server was an interesting addition, and seemed to be a hit with the kids that were there. Hopefully other locations will consider adding one.

Great location. Late lunch. Love the old fashioned orangeade. Reminded me of ones that I used to make as a teenager working in my family grill. Very friendly efficient service. Burger made to order and tots. They gave you a sample of today's flavor of frozen custard.

This is always a great place to go for a good, quick meal- and the milkshakes are always on point. The cute robot was certainly a conversation piece- hopefully it’ll be a helpful addition to y’all’s place!!

Very nice and lovely place. Found out they have something planned for kids on Tuesday loved it . Treated my girls like princesses. Will b going back there when we can

Me and a group of friends met for lunch on 5/26/23. We had the best experience with our server Robin. She was so happy and enthusiastic. She talked me into adding bacon and cheese to my fries and it was the best decision I made. The food was outstanding.

Nice, clean, and very friendly. The little burger was just right size.

The food was super delicious and the waitress gave us excellent service. She suggested the shrimp poboy. Let me tell you it was Hm Hm good😋😋😋

Amazing food and amazing service I love this place and will definitely come back some time. The customer service is on another level ! Highly recommend. 😃
