Dr. Elvira Chiritescu, MD

Dr. Chiritescu is the kindest, most thorough doctor that I have ever encountered, literally. Her support staff is equally as wonderful. And Dr. Chiritescu helps with, not only the surface of the skin, but what one can do from the inside, out, to promote healthy skin/lifestyle.

The best Dermatologist I have ever been to. She is thorough, professional and covers all her bases. She truly has a genuine concern for her patients well being. She takes her time with me to make sure all my concerns are addressed and that I understand everything that we have discussed. I have been seeing Dr. Chiritescu for about 10 years and I will not change. My husband, my neighbors who also go to her, Love her.Lisa and Kelly, her staff members are awesome! They are so sweet, compassionate, easy going and such a great compliment to the practice. I just can’t say enough Great things about this practice.

Dr. Chiritescu is so personable and genuinely cares for each and every one of her patients (her staff included). She doesn’t look at the clock and rush you so she can see as many patients as possible in a day like most doctors out there today! When I leave her office, I feel that I have received the best possible care.

All my visits have been great. Dr. Chiritescu is very profession and compassionate to me. She is very through in doing exams. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, making you feel at ease during your visit. Thanks to Dr. Chiritescu being through, she has found spots that required surgery and the melomania was removed. I appreciate her through exams. She treats every patient the same, giving them special attention. New Age Dermatology is a wonderful and caring practice. I would and do recommended them to everyone. I have been going there about 10 years and was recommended to this practice by my golfing buddy.

I and my wife have been Patients of Dr C since she opened her practice in Apex NC. I'm and avid offshore fisherman, sailor and snow skier. I have lived most of my 68 years in the sun. My wife also shares this same sun exposure. We have seen many Dermatologist over the years as we have lived all over the country. When I see a doctor I do not want to be treated like a number or have the feeling that I'm going thru a fast food drive thru window. Dr C and her staff makes us feel special as they are caring driven professionals. I and my wife have regular check ups and see Dr C about 10 times a year. Hmm, I read Farnoosh's review, and it was interesting. I've seen about 10 dermatologist in my 30years of life, and Dr Chiritescu is among the top 2. She is knowledgable and caring, and her office opens from 6:30, which is a great plus since I work from 8-5. When I need to make urgent appointment, her staff was flexible. I don't live in the area anymore, and when I requested for a copy of my records, it was done within 3 days, and the experience was pleasant. I would recommend New Age Dermatology Center to anyone I know (and I did).

On this subject, I suggest staying away from Smiles Center of Dr Jones Michael in Cary/Raleigh. I'm his regular patient, and he charged me $70 for smoothing out a tooth that was filled before (it was sharp and cut my lips). When I asked to pull my record, Smiles Center asked me to pay $30 and wait 30days. It's been 3 months now, and nothing from Dr Jones Michael. Stay away from Smile Center.

Dr C and her staff are very thorough. They are understanding of my concerns and suggest options. Everyone is very friendly too. I feel welcome and cared for.

Dr Chiritescu is warm, patient and knowledgeable. She spends time with you and explains procedures along with being positive and comforting.

I saw Dr. Chiritescu this morning. She is pleasant, careful, efficient and very good at what she does. I do recommend her to all who need a dermatologist.
