I had the most amazing time here! It's a true hidden gem in every sense. The large sculptures scattered throughout the park add a captivating artistic touch, making every stroll an inspiring journey. The flower fields are a burst of colors and fragrances that elevate the experience to another level.
The presence of a greenway and bike-friendly paths make it a haven for outdoor enthusiasts. The convenience of plenty of free parking is a welcome bonus. But what truly stole my heart was the abundance of green space where you can sit and relax. Whether you want to read a book, enjoy a picnic, or play fetch with your furry friend, this park has it all. Plus, being located next to the museum of art adds an intellectual and cultural dimension to the visit. It's an all-encompassing destination for nature, art, and leisure lovers alike!

Our family visits the amphitheater every year to see the final show of the paper hand puppet intervention. It is always a good time I don't think we've ever been rained on. The sound system is excellent and well run. The bathrooms available in the outdoor park are enormous and kept clean. Everything here is easily accessible to the handicapped. Parking is close and abundant. It's always fun for the kids and adults as well.

Black nativity concert. It was awesome and we had such a beautiful day for it. Glad I got in on the last day. The Black Nativity Concert was filled with very talented people and the singing was fantastic it had you on your feet wanting to shout. This was such an uplifting concert. They had actors and actresses in all ages. Oh! and the piano player/slash conductor was on point . (If he has a side gig in music on weekends I would love to come hear all of them.) If yall can go see them anywhere around Christmas then do so. You will not be disappointed.
Oh !! and when they sang Mary did you know...........!!!!! so good it made my eyes water....

This place has scifi portal magic lol. The powers that be always have me walk around here on the prettiest days. It's one of the first times I realized we were being controlled physically too. Had me twirling around in circles. That started about last September for sure. I just wasn't allowed to notice or retain the knowledge of that before then. I'm sure it's the same for a lot of people.

Great place to walk around huge sculptures with plenty of green space and a beautiful trail along the shaded creek.
The park is closed at sunset.

This was the perfect place for a walk in the late afternoon before sunset. The park has nearly five miles of paved and unpaved walking trails with more than 30 amazing sculptures and art installations to enjoy. There are plenty of options for places to stroll, enjoy a picnic or just relax on the grass.

Our favorite park. We love coming here with my 3-yo and walk and observe the nature. We’ve seen lots of rabbits, deers (mama with two babies🥰), a snake. Berries, other families with kids, beautiful sunsets.

This park was absolutely incredible! Miles of walking trails, art installations, abundant parking, gentle rolling hills and the restored meadow is a feast for the senses. So peaceful. Next time I will take a picnic basket and spend an entire afternoon there.

This park was absolutely incredible! We stopped here for a picnic to celebrate my nieces graduation from NC State. There are miles of walking trails (paved of gavel), art, gentle rolling hills, fun little pond, and plenty of parking. There were Lots of walkers walking their dogs, families taking pictures, people resting on blankets and at no time did we feel like we were on top of each other.

This is such a gem! It's outside, it's free, and has art, nature, and history exhibits. My favorite is the Hidden Camera Obscura that is off on one of the wooded trails. Go inside, shut the door, and wait for your eyes to adjust until you can see the image of the outside on the floor. Take some time doing it- the longer you stay, the more you will see

Absolutely wonderful art museum, the grounds are so beautiful ❤ Good walk and pet friendly. The indoor art was great and so was the outdoor sculptures. Worth the drive for a day trip! Free admission and parking. Open Sunday until 5pm as of now. No mask required.

This is hands down one of my favorite places to visit. On a perfect day you have trails to walk or bike. The museum is full of breathtaking history and the information and staff are all amazing. I can't say enough good things about how great this museum is. This was one of the first places I ever came to visit when moving to this area almost three years ago, and now it is one of my most often visited museums. Also if you keep an eye out they also used to offer outdoor movies. At this time I'm not sure if they will be offering them again this year, but if they do it is so much fun. Often times you can find the information on the Raleigh Events page. So keep an eye out if that might be something you are interested in. No matter the reason you visit you will not leave disappointed as there is something here for everyone. So with the weather warming up now I hope you might find the time to stop by and possibly mark this down as one of your new favorite go to spots in Raleigh

Great place for a walk, also dog friendly on leash

Marvelous..one of the best art concentration spots in the country when combined with Art Museum next to it. One stop gives you the indoors and the outdoors and if you lucky you might just get the outdoor concert too.

Can't say enough amazing things about the grounds. Dog friendly and bike friendly (with the exception of a few, well marked paths). Tons of different easy to follow trails. On and off pavement. Looking forward to spending more time out here!

I absolutely LOVE this place! The beautiful art, the scenery, and the overall vibe is unmatched! I love to go, take photos, and get my steps in a peaceful environment. It’s very pet friendly and great for families with children. I love gathering with local creatives to come together and take photos as well. It’s a great spot for photography! I highly recommend!
