Fantastic place to visit to see handmade wooden cars that a person could sit in. Figurines and dolls handmade, just AMAZING! Mr and Mrs Russeth are just as nice and friendly and informative as they could be. You'd be surprised at the nice little museums right here in Harlem, Ga. I really enjoyed the tour. **Call for an appointment.**

A hidden find in small town America. Run by a retired local, Garry Russeth, you will find all sorts of memorabilia. The museum also has a model t and several full size wooden cars. We got to spend some time talking with Garry and had a really great time.

Highly recomended. I live in Grovetown and I always take my international guests to Laurel and Hardy Museum and The Fine Mess Old Car Museum. Gary Russeth and his wife Jean are super friendly and I always introduce them to my guests as an example for American culture, hospitality, and kindness.

This was a delightful discovery. We had turned off the freeway and driven to Harlem because of the sign for the Laurel and Hardy Museum. While there, I met Gary Russeth who just happened to mention that he has built some wooden cars. HIS WORK IS INCREDIBLE. If you are in the area, make an effort to get to this museum. It is in a building behind his home and you should call before going, but his work is amazing. His wife, Jean, gave us a tour. The picture here doesn't do it justice. It is only one corner of the building and it is a bit cluttered because he has limited space but the cars you see here are made entirely of wood! They did not charge for admission but donations are, I am sure, gratefully accepted. I enjoyed this and I think you will, too.
