Beachcomber Beachfront Hotel

Normally I’m on high alert with reviews but I’m thankful I didn’t listen to them during this specific hotel. We drove 9 hours from south Florida for a mini get away; arrived around 4 AM. Upon arrival, assistant manager Aaron advised us that our reservation has been dropped and he would either 1) send us to a sister hotel or 2) accommodate us for the evening and possible move us to another room due to another reservation. He reassured us that he would take care of it and he truly went above and beyond to make sure of it. Aaron deserves recognition. Our room and view was absolutely beautiful, the room and beds were clean for the most part! Kitchen came fully equipped with plates, cups, pots/pans & cooking utensils. The layout of the room was great and included a pull out soda bed apart from 2 full size beds.
Only downfall is super late at night around 3-4 AM; people were drunk and fighting.

Absolutely love the location with the beach so close. The rooms are perfect and my experiences been wonderful. I do want to make it known that the lady at the front desk. Her name is Toni is absolutely amazing. When I first arrived, there was a whole family anywhere between 15 to 25 people sitting in the lobby very angry because they haven’t had their room yet. However, it was because the entire family decided that they wanted to be on the fifth floor altogether. Instead of taking the rooms that have already been clean and ready for them. They were very upset that they had to wait for the accommodation that they requested INSTEAD of informing the hotel staff of their needs or requests in ADVANCE to better make it possible They had spoke to Toni rude, disrespectful and condescendingly Because they had to wait for the rooms to be cleaned. Toni told them that y’all only have three people on the cleaning crew, and they were doing everything they could to make it happen. Toni at times even went to help them clean to speed it up so the disgruntled family would be happy. The reason I’m letting you know all this is because I would hate to see Toni ever stop being the smiling face that people first see once they have arrive at your establishment, but what I’d hate more is her not being at least acknowledged for what she’s doing for your company. We should all inspired to have that much patience with ignorance, because I assure you no many do. (Me especially). Also, I would like to acknowledge oral because in that time span that I was there, he kept trying to let Toni know how long it would be before another room was open or what room would be best to clean next to help accommodate them. They both were hustling, doing their best to make this family happy and accommodate them even while having the attitude. If you do nothing at all, but only acknowledge their Work ethics, Patience, Calm demeanor, hospitality and genuine kindness.:: at least do that. Hope this message finds you well! Happy Easter 🐣

Loved this place! *Staff was great! *Location was wonderful! Room was clean and beds were comfortable. The full kitchen saved money (although we are out also)
Love the layout of the rooms!
The building is a little older, but they do a great job on keeping it up and making everything nice. It is not a five-star hotel, so please don’t go there expecting such. Do go knowing the price is reasonable, the amenities are good, the staff is friendly and the view is breathtaking.
I had a wonderful stay, and will definitely go back again.

This was our first trip ever to the beach and ocean!! The staff here was amazing!! We had a great room with an amazing view and we got to see dolphins and stingrays from our balcony. The room was super clean!! Beds were comfortable. Easy beach access
great pool and hot tub!! Everything worked in our room and both elevators were working. The staff was super accommodating and friendly always smiling!! Thank you for an amazing vacay stay!! Already planning next year's trip!!

Even though it looks like the city of PCB is doing construction on the street and circle, round about, right out front the hotel, there is peace quiet, and calmness here at the Beachcomber. Same for the staff with Sharakay being able to balance multiple phone calls and check in kindly, efficiently, and friendly like and Nattisia bringing the calm by pacing things just right on top of being kind and friendly. The lobby lounge coffee and special treat of breakfast bars from time to time is an added benefit even some DIABETIC FRIENDLY choices like apples and 6g of sugar granola bars along with the beautiful kidney shaped pool, oval spa or Jacuzzi; Plus having the beach and ocean as your back yard makes this a great choice and nice place to stay. Best to bring your tried and true hair care products. The Asst. Manager, Aaron was timely in returning communications and patient when a migraine had me slow to follow up, act, and respond. I noticed a guy outside quietly sweeping up garbage in the parking lot and another staff member saw the pool needed skimming while I was getting in so he came over and skimmed it right away. I enjoy the palms and bushes in-between the pool and spa and understand the foliages will end up in the pool but appreciate everyone's attentiveness for sure❣

I feel it necessary to add, though other older reviews mention it, this is the cleanest hotel I have literally, as far as I can remember, have been in and the cleaning staff are proactive on top of that, asking if we need anything😁

The young ladies that checked us in and out was very friendly and helpful. The place is older than the fancy 5 star motel. It had everything we needed and the price was with in my budget. I will definitely return.

This hotel is older, despite "perfect" condition as comparable to a newer complex...it is soooo clean. Love the layout, beds up front, full kitchen/bath in middle, Den/Sofabed and balcony in back overlooking ocean!! Perfect for famikies or couples!! Great location too. Cons: Limited parking...difficult if traveling with young kids.

Like others have said on here is it the fanciest place to stay no. But my mother and I stayed here last night and had a great night! Great views, very clean room, tv worked, very comfortable bed, everything was great especially for the price! The only problem we had is only one elevator worked. Other than that great experience!

Absolutely wonderful! Clean rooms balcony kitchen the beds were heavenly soft. Just a wonderful stay. A Bar, Food and grocery store within walking distance if you don't have children. Roads are under construction so a bit dangerous,

We have been here for 4 days and loved every minute. Is it the fanciest hotel, no but it is comfortable, on the water and close to all the tourist stuff, absolutely. As stated in some reviews, it is a little outdated and worn out, but we figured it wouldn't be fancy, for the cost. Our little kitchen has a skillet, pan, basic silverware, plates, cups, bowels, toaster, microwave and full size fridge. I heard someone in the lobby who needed a can opener, they had one for her. The service is excellent. The drinks at the tiki bar were strong and yummy. For the cost, you can't beat this place, we are already planning our next trip. Also, some complained about housekeeping. They tell you in check in, and on the sign in paperwork, you must request housekeeping the night before or else they come when you check out. Anything extra we needed....towels, trash bags etc, they immediately got it to us. Also, ice machine on floor 5, between the elevators has worked well. We will definitely be back! We had a great vacation. The price was super affordable, we were on the beach, had a pool hot tub, small kitchen. The rooms are older rooms, and I mopped the floor with a towel. Having said that, the staff does a very good job with cleaning and maintaining. I was up early enough to see the guys sweeping the balcony and the area by the pool, adding chemicals to the pool and changing the trash. The owner knows there is a smoking issue and is trying to his best to monitor that. He was actively looking for the people smoking from the balcony. It's not a job I would want, so I'm grateful for someone who is willing to do it. Y'all just go to the designated area for smoking! All in all a vacation is what you make of it. We had a great time. I enjoyed making memories with my family. If you want the Ritz go to the Ritz this is not it. If you want a nice place to hang out on the beach and enjoy memories with your family, I think this place is great. And the ice machine does work. It's on the 5th floor and the 8th floor. I will say if you want to cook in your room, bring a baking sheet and a skillet because that is not included. The hair dryer doesn't work so bring that too! God bless

Best location!! We had thr best time here. We brought my baby here for her very first birthday, we did a smash cake on the beach. The hotel wasn't in good shape. Our ne8ghbors door handle fell off and they didn't even have access to their balcony. Also, the walls are aper thin, I can hear someone unzipping their luggage!
Other than the hotel being a little worn down, everything else is 100/10. The location, the people are so nice everywhere. It really makes ya want to move to flordia! Lol. Parking was a little bit of a pain, but we managed. I definitely recommend renting a golf cart to drive around while you're there.

Thank you Shara Kay for going above and beyond and going the extra mile to do your job and be polite at it , we drove in took 6 hours the place we had our reservations through was another hotel, and it was supposed to be ready at 4:00 it still was not ready at 6:30 PM. I was given a bunch of keys to go try to find clean rooms which was not my job in the rooms was ate up with bedbugs again this was not the beachcomber , I’m so glad I walked in and got help from Shara Kay she went above and beyond to help my family out as we had waisted an entire day messing with this other facility. I will never come back to another place!!! We love it here ♥ thank you Shara Kay

We took a family trip here and loved it! The room was clean and nice, AC worked good and beautiful balcony view. My daughter loved the pool and hot tub and staff was very friendly. Restaurants and other activities were very close by. Unfortunately we forgot we booked an extra day and left a day early so we’re very upset with ourselves lol. Definitely be back next year

My family and I recently stayed at Beachcomber By The Sea and had a fantastic time! The hotel is right on the beach and has a beautiful view. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as the easy access to the beach. The location is also great, with plenty of restaurants and activities nearby. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend Beachcomber By The Sea to others looking for a relaxing beach vacation.

The property is literally on the beach.the hotel personnel are very well behaved and always have a smile and ever ready to help.the rooms have a small kitchen with a full size fridge, small oven and 4 hot plate, toaster and microwave. Each room has a beach view and a patio. Each room has 2 TV sets one in bed room and the other in living room which has a sofa set, table and 2 chairs. The room and bathroom are really clean. The rooms are quite. the only drawback is that it has only grab and go breakfast. the hotel is very strategically located as there is McD just opposite to the property and also other amenity stores very close. the pier park is hardly 5 mins by car and also walk-able. the property has adequate parking place and more parking place just opposite to the property. Overall the best place to stay in a very reasonable price. A good recommendation to stay along with family.

At first just from reading the reviews I was nervous to book but I went ahead and went with this place and I do not regret it. The check in process went fast and easy. Everyone was friendly. They didn't have housekeeping that came to the room which in my opinion I liked because I didn't have to worry about them knocking on the door first thing in the morning or anything like that. If we needed something all it took was a quick request from the workers. Yes the sand did get brought in with you if you didn't get it all washed off from the beach at the wash area outside but that's a given when u stay at a place on a beach. The room we had, 505, was perfect and came with essentials for cooking and stuff that i packed and didn't even need.. Everything was clean and had a great view. One burner didn't work on the stove but it didn't bother us at all. If anything, maybe more for a selection at breakfast would be nice but still had enough to choose from. The pool and hot tub were clean and relaxing. The tiki bar was great and a wonderful thing to have as an additional perk to this place. Many food options and stores within close walking distance. Overall our stay was fantastic and can't really complain about much without just being super picky. Like the construction sucked which made a slight inconvenience for us once when it came to parking but that isn't their fault and nothing that would stop us from coming back. We definitely recommend and will be back for sure especially at the price we got it for!
-never did pull out the couch to see how it felt when being slept on or the condition of it when pulled out into a bed but sitting on it was fine.

The bang for your buck , if your easy going and a beach bum this is the place for you to enjoy everything PCB has to offer at a value price , great service reception lady with glasses in the morning is the best

Great place to stay ! Convenient to everything, very clean, very friendly. Loved the elevators! Great price per night for what we got. Even got to check in a little early when we got there!

Older property that could use some updates but can’t beat the view and the location.

The staff went out of their way to assist us with our car (thanks bunches, Jennifer!). We will be back!
