Billy's Oyster Bar

The food and service were great. We were disappointed with the seafood we had tried at other restaurants that cost significantly more. Everything we had here was cooked and seasoned perfectly and exceeded expectations. We had the Gumbo in a bread bowl, calamari, and Snow Crab legs. All were GREAT

This is a great spot. Yes I missed out on their blue crab, but when things come in fresh it’s first in first out. Their snow crab is good, but their fresh raw oysters are excellent. They are the smaller ones, but this that love oysters know the small ones taste so much better than the large ones. The key lime pie is pretty good too. Being from the the Texas Gulf Coast, I will be back.

You gotta try the Lobster Bisque! It's one of the best I've had. I get it every time. I always start off with a Bloody Mary and it's delicious every time! They'll make it extra spicy of you want! Can't wait for the next time!

I can't say enough good things about the bartender at Billy’s!! Sassy was friendly, took care of what she needed to and joined in on the fun in a very appropriate way. She made the most delicious drink suggestions and even changed up a drink per my request without hesitation. She was a delight to have there through our entire meal as we ate dinner at the bar too. Her conversations were so personable and so much fun! She even told us about some local spots to see crystal clear springs while we were on our vacation. We ended up having dinner at Billy’s three nights in one week because we loved the food but more importantly loved our bartender and the service. I highly recommend Billy’s to anyone visiting Panama City Beach!

My husband & I accidentally stumbled on this place while looking for dinner at the wrong time. Waits in the area were over a hour and half and driving by this place didn't look to be busy... it was. But luckily we were able to get a bar seat & were waited on promptly. The bartender, she was so sweet & offered fabulous suggestions for our meals, 5 stars for her. The other employees seemed to work so great together and were in great spirits despite the fact the place was absolutely packed. However, one lady stood out of them all, unfortunately, not in a great way. I believe she was the owner and just seemed to have a piss poor attitude, an awful look was all over her face the several hours we were there and even though looked like she was helping, didn't appear as she did much other than hand off food to random employees even if their hands were full and doing something else. We didn't have any bad interactions with her, just something we noticed. But otherwise, it was a happy accident, great service, and fantastic food.

A M A Z I N G ! If y'all ever come to Panama City Beach, y'all HAVE to stop here!! It's not that special of a building. But this place was excellent in every way. Zane was our server, and he was on top of his game! We were a party of 12, and his service for my whole family was great. I ordered the gumbo for an appetizer. I SHOULD'VE ORDERED THE BIG BOWL!!! I had the raw oysters and were of the best quality! Fresh as could be. It was the most delicious gumbo I've had in my life!!! I then ordered a plate of fried shrimp and fish. The shrimp were a tad bit small. But the batter flavor of it was good. I had some of the crab cake as well, and it was superb. Highly recommend this place! But come early, because it gets packed. 6 out of 5 stars!!!!

Great meals and experience. Wonderful and friendly staff. Seafood was prepared perfectly. Had creamy shrimp pasta dish. Fried fish and fries. Definitely returning again on next visit.

After reading mixed reviews we decided to give it a try. Glad we did! We were looking for some blue crab claws and they definitely came through! The gumbo was fantastic, it is a bit spicy but I like it that way. My wife and I had the seafood platter and everything was cooked perfectly. Would definitely go back and may visit again before we leave.

My family and I went to dinner here and loved this place. The food was delicious and our waitress Sharon was great, very friendly. There was a wait time but it was only about 20 mins which isn't bad especially with how some other places can be as high as 1-2 hours. The only thing I can say I wasn't a fan of was their garden salad but it's such a minor thing compared to how fantastic everything and everyone else was. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great service and food in the area.

The food was great. We got the baked oysters, crawfish, steamed shrimp and the bang bang shrimp pasta. My bloody Mary was spicy and perfect. Everything came out lightning fast and our waitress checked on us several times. We will definitely be back.

My mom ordered the crab cakes, and she said they were the best crabcakes she had. The tuna dip was really good. Everything we had there was good. The waitress was very good as well.

There the other night and food was excellent as usual but what outshined the meal was the our waitresses, Shannon. That girl ain't just sharp, she's the razor sharp rotating death crab Cracker of our Redneck Riverea'. Hats off and hand salute chick. See you soon.

Shannon's service was top notch. She greeted us warmly, knew the menu inside out, and made sure our dining experience was smooth from start to finish. Her attention to detail and friendly demeanor really stood out. Big props to Shannon for making our night memorable. Can't wait to swing by again and hopefully get the same stellar service.

Another great locals place! Food was very good. Husband loves the grilled grouper. They were out of blue crab but that's just a reason to go back! Great service

Late dinner with the family last night and Shannon took care of us. Super friendly and working hard at serving everyone. Wait was long due to a shortness of staff but she worked diligently to serve us and others. Food was delicious. Fried grouper was amazing and generous portion for the market price. Visit Billys and enjoy the oysters and selection of crab. Ask for Shannon!

We really enjoyed this stop after snorkeling all morning. Wasn’t busy which was surprising with the oyster quality. Salty and fresh. We stuffed our faces. Will definitely come back. Nice road side crab/oyster place, standard dollar bill decoration and service was on point. Thanks!

Great food. Was very busy the time we were there but our server was great and we received our food promptly.
