Please, manage your dog's leash!
Our dog is not well-socialized, but behaves when kept at a distance from other dogs during beach outings.
It's risky when dogs with unleashed friendliness rush in, causing chaos for both our dog and others.
Also, it's nerve-wracking when they roam around, potentially heading our way.
Even if you decide to unleash the dog, please supervise within the activity radius.
It was worrisome when the owner is far away, unleashing the dog and just left. Hm....

We absolutely love the beach here! White Sand, tons of room for our dog to run and play! Beach patrol were out constantly walking around which made us feel safe! 5/5 for stars for sure! If you're looking for a place for you and your dog to enjoy the beach! This was our dogs first time experiencing saltwater life! She was definitely surprised 😂

Gorgeous beach. Heat times had by all. Although there were a ton of dogs there, I didn’t see any poop whatsoever. The beach was actually extremely clean.

What a wonderful dog beach! We had a great time here for three days of our week vacation. Free parking across the street, showers avail at the the main entrance to rinse off. Clean, beautiful and amazing views. Walk further west for more privacy/ or to let your dog run free. Gets a bit crowded by the pier sometimes and probably a good idea to keep your pup on leash there.

A wonderful beach I came across so far, after visiting 10 countries. Beautiful super white and soft sand. Shower available in the entrance to clean off the sand. Sunset views are mesmerizing.

Free car parking is available across the street. For walking on the pier, entry ticket is $4 per person.

Not just for dogs! My rabbit loved digging in the sand and lying in the trench he made. I had him on a short leash, but there was enough space for everybody to feel safe and still have room to play.

This is a great beach to bring your dog to. There is easy parking nearby, a bathroom at the pier (not the cleanest, but I feel like that is how it is at the beach) and it is close to food at Pier Park. This is where one of the the lifeguard stands in Panama City Beach is located. There is a shower and small hose to rinse off afterwards (at the beach entry next to the pier).

This is such a great dog beach! We have been to a few others in Florida, but this has been our favorite. It is easy to access, free, plenty of soft sand, and beautiful water with shallow sand bars to play on.

This was our 3rd visit to the Pier Park Dog Beach over the last 2 years visiting from the Nashville area. This is a great spot to let our golden retriever play in the water. This time was busier than the other two visits, but worked out fine as the couple of off leash interactions were good. Parking can be tough, but haven't Hook'd Snack Bar a short walk makes up for it!

Pretty relaxing and clean dog beach. Free parking across street, diagonally from the pier. It was difficult to get a bottle of water. Only one vending machine at entrance to the beach that was empty. There is a stand by the restaurant, where you can deal with disgruntled staff and wait 20 minutes, for a bottle of water. Hint... BRING YOUR OWN WATER. The beach also had showers at the entrance. We enjoyed it very much!

Buddy had a blast at the beach! This was his first time going. The 4th of July firework show was great too! This beach is Buddy approved 👍

The beach was pretty empty when I was here, which was nice. I got to the beach a little after 5pm and sunset was ~6:45pm. There were about 20-25 dogs, and 1 cat, on the beach while I was there, but not all at the same time. The Dog Beach begins at the pier and goes west, about 300-400 feet. There is a lifeguard station and plenty of trashcans. My dogs seemed to like it.

Such a nice area for a dog beach. Like some other reviews mention, not everyone has their dogs on leashes, but today there were more dogs on leashes than not. Sand and everything in the area is so well maintained. Enjoyed our time here very much. Highly recommend for you and your furry family members.

Very nice dog Beach. The dogs were really well-behaved when I went. Parking was a.c. we parked right across the street. We went in September the sand was really hot when we left at noon I would suggest dogs wearing shoes

Absolutely love this place! We were so disappointed when we first arrived to the beach and realized dogs weren't allowed at most places. A quick Google search and we found this wonderful dog friendly beach! The water was nice and clear so we were able to snorkel for sea shells, we saw sting rays and plenty of fish and it's right next to the pier as well as plenty of shopping and dining options.

I do suggest getting there early to find a good spot because it fills up quick and unfortunately plenty of people without dogs come to take up space. Also be sure to bring dog booties for your pup because after around 11 the sand and boardwalk areas heat up quickly and could easily scald their pads.

Great place to take the fur babies! Our pups always have so much fun here! They love the water and the sand!!! If needed they have dog waste bags offered once you reach beach and an area to discard waste where you get bags. So you can keep this wonderful doggy beach clean for everyone!! If you have puppers looking for beach fun great place and atmosphere!!
