Horizon South Resort

Very awesome resort with plenty to offer. The layout of the buildings was easy to navigate. They way the units are set up give you a really private vibe. Location is great, walking distance from the beach, local gift shops, food entertainment, ice cream and drinks! The family and I are having an amazing time!

I've been renting a condo from Horizon South for many years. I've been able to stay in 2 different untils, having 2 different owners. Horizon South is right across the street from the beach 🏖 and Pier Park is about a mile away. Not to mention being close to just about everything!! You really can't beat the location. You're literally at the end of Front Beach Rd away from most of the crowds.Front and back gates (easy access to back beach Rd) make for an easy commute whenever you're ready to go a few miles for whatever reason. The girl I rent from is awesome and she gives me the option of paying for a cleaning service or cleaning it myself. Me and my daughter are getting ready for this summer and a week in Panama City Beach.

I recommend staying at Horizon South if you're looking for an affordable option. Instead of paying $300 per night for a cramped up little room without sufficient privacy. I pay $150/night at Horizon South. The unit I rent has 2 queen size beds in the bedroom, bunk beds built into the hallway and a pull out couch. One bathroom with 2 separate sinks, a big open den area and a nice kitchen with all the emmentities. The condo can sleep 8 but I wouldn't even try that unless it was special circumstances because it'll sleep 8 but not very comfortable.
Right across the street from the original Sandpiper Beacon.

Loved it! Safe, well maintained and excellent location. I'll definitely use them in the future and would recommend it again and again.

My family had the pleasure of staying here for a week for our family vacation. The grounds and pool area was clean and things seemed to have been recently updated. Easy access to the beach. The Security Guard Jason was always making rounds being sure everything was good and if we needed any help. We felt super safe staying here and we will definitely be back again in the future. Very Beautiful clean place. Matt in the office was very nice and helpful and answered any questions or concerns I had which makes things so much more enjoyable with a happy community.Our family really enjoyed Our stay in Horizon South Our condo was very clean and Beautiful. Already booked again for next year!

We own a condo here and it's great- 3 pools, mini golf, shuffle board, pool tables and a 5 minute walk to the beach. Coconut's has great food too.

Our unit was perfect, your staff was pleasant, met your security guard Jason we loved him
He has a great personality good with people it comes natural for him to be a people person you can't train anyone to be that way, we meet neighbors that stay there and can't wait to return, we were hoping to be there sooner but my husband fell 2 days after we got home. We highly recommend staying here very quiet and secure. Can't wait to return. great location and good food close by. Jason told us to go to Mike's and have the blackened mahi and we did it was so yummy thanks again Jason

Loved it, plenty of room and right across the road from the beach. They have plenty of pools at the complex also. Will definitely be going back.

We had a great time on our visit. The pools were clean and beautiful. We played putt putt but could not play shuffleboard since equipment for the games aren’t available. The grounds were nice and people weee friendly. It did seem that they harassed us a little about having bracelets even though they were in plain sight on our arms. It was so close to the beach and shopping! We will be back!!

Love love love this place! Perfect for a family vacation! Beach was just a short 5 minute walk away, multiple swimming pools for the kids and the hot tub was very relaxing. Alot of restaurants in walking distance. Would definitely recommend, can't wait to come back!

We have stayed here at the Horizon South Resort many times since the 80’s . So much so that we bought a unit here to be able to allow our guest to have the same wonderful experience. Great family oriented place to stay on the West End of the beach . Come check us out! A lot of new stuff happening and a lot of new owner’s remodeling their units!

Stayed here few weeks ago with my husband for anniversary we stayed in unit 105 building 60 Rickey and his wife Kristie allowed us to stay at there second home it was so clean and nice ground floor was great with my disabled husband the resort was so nice and clean also the young man matt in office was so helpful with my millions of ? I will be back

Stayed in building 42H place was beautiful clean. resort was beautiful pools was so nice easy access and close to beach very short walk to beach putt putt on site was great for kids office guy was super nice security was on point I will definitely be back if your looking for a safe family place this is for you

Had the pleasure of staying at horizon south again this past weekend been staying here for years grounds look great and they are doing a lot of upgrades that are looking fabulous had the pleasure of renting unit 105 in building 60 it was great very up to date very clean and the closest building to beach I have to mention security also officer jason was so helpful to our family

Loved my 1 week stay here. The air conditioner inside the apartments is fantastic and kept us cool the entire time. There are plenty of rooms and a bed in the couch which was incredibly comfortable. They had 3 pools and a hot tub as well near the offices, and it was extremely close to the beach and quality restaurants. Overall I 100% recommend this place to any taking a visit to Florida.

We been staying here for 5 years couple times a year we loved the location and facilities so much we made the decision to invest here and purchase our own place and have no regrets at all very quiet great for children

Nice condos, it was quiet and a short walking distance to the beach. I enjoyed my stay.
