Banana Peel Resort

I love the Banana Peel!
The room was CLEAN, the water was HOT, the service was FANTASTIC! I think they recently or are in the process of a remodel and it really shows. There’s a “lounge” area with games, great subs, and a bar. Not to mention an awesome front store.
The courtyard area is very nice with a clean pool and yard games. I felt safe the entirety of the stay here. Walkable to local coffee/tea shops and bars.
I would definitely stay here again!

The place is the most loveable dump you will ever stay in. The rooms are clean and comfortable. And the pool is a community all of its own. This is where I will stay any time I'm in PC.

The only draw back is walking across the street to the beach, the pool was nice and the whole vibe was great!

Me and my wife have stayed here 2 times and it’s been great both times. Can’t beat it for the price!

The staff are professional and extremely helpful. We wanted to extend our stay and they were more than helpful with that request. It really reminds me of a true Caribbean stay if you’ve ever been blessed enough to go. Lots of activities and truly open 24/7. We will definitely be back. Haven’t checked out yet and will update on the deposit return but since we’ve followed the rules Of no smoking in the room or destroying any property or causing any other reasonably expected request for a property owned by someone else, I don’t foresee that being an issue. Try this location for your next stay. No it’s not a run of the mill beach hotel, it’s better.

It is no frills but worth it

The staff was very professional and precise. The room was exceptional, clean, and more than we could’ve asked for. The 24 hour pool was great for the kids! The price was very affordable with great access to everything around! Overall great stay. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Rooms are not perfect but clean and cozy.
I loved the courtyard/common area. It made it a lot more private.
Service and staff are great and friendly. Addressed all of our needs immediately.

We had an amazing weekend. The staff is amazing. OG was just the best all around everything. His wife was super friendly and helpful S well. We extended our stay and will be back. THE STAFF HAS TO BE THE BEST IN PCB!!!
Clean room, great food and great drinks

My second time staying at this hotel and I will definitely be back. If you like to party and stay up late this is the place for you! 24 hour pool, kitchen and bar open 24 hrs. The music is playing outside nearly 24 hrs. The beach is directly across the street. The outside set up is so cool, with games and plenty lounge areas. And the staff are great!

We've been here at week decided to stay one more night. But our hotel couldnt accommodate us. We called them and from the 1st phone call, these Guys have been Amazing. I love the friendly service. And I love the fact that they are working on revamping this spot that Is rich with history. I will definitely recommend it to anyone and the price was Amazingly super affordable. Oh a room service was on point.

I don't usually write reviews, but I wanted to say what a great time my friends and I had staying here. After reading some of the other reviews we were a little worried, but the room was clean and we were very happy with the location (right across the street from the beach). We had a mini fridge, TV, and 24 hour access to a microwave in the restaurant.

The room wasn't the most luxurious place I've ever stayed, but it had what really matters — it was clean and I felt safe. It's a family owned place so they don't have the big bucks to invest tons into the looks of the rooms themselves, but you aren't going to hang out in your hotel all day.

Just know what you're coming for — if you want a more typical luxurious-looking room there's plenty of other more expensive places nearby, but I don't think you'll find anywhere with the soul of the banana peel. Staff was super friendly, beds were comfy, room was clean, and price was great. Thanks!

This was our 1st time stay here and the atmosphere, vibe and staff was absolutely amazing! The DJ played some great music at night interacting with all the customers who stayed there. The pool setting was very relaxing and we’ll definitely be staying here again!

Looking for a laid back spot that’s great for all ages, well you just found it. The night time is very cool with plenty of places to chill, have a drink or have handmade pizza or subs brought by the staff with 24 hour room service. Our room was clean, fresh, the bed was fantastic (in fact it made us want one) The staff is friendly and accommodating and make you feel right at home. The store also has everything you need and they always had fresh coffee. The littles had a blast in the pool, which is surrounded by grass and pleasant on the feet, the big kids played cornhole, there’s music for your listening pleasure. I hope y’all enjoy it as much as we did. These folks all work hard together. And did I mention how kind they are! Thanks you guys

This was one of the best trips I’ve ever had to the beach. The pool and the store were open 24 hours, which was great for us because we our night owls. The staff was super friendly and I never had to want for anything while I was there. The property is a bit older, however I knew that going in and for the price you can’t beat this place on the beach.!!!

Not my first time at the banana peel resort and definitely not my last! Amazing karaoke, drinks, and lots of space! Owen is also one of the best bartenders! He’s caring and fast service!! Everyone looks so happy to work here, and it makes me even happier to be here!

This is my all time favorite vacation spot in PCB!! Everything is so convenient; public beach access across the street, pool and lounging area right outside your door. Plus the staff is always available and ready to help. Food is available to order 24 hour a day in their convenient store and we absolutely LOVED the pizza and subs.Will be returning very soon!

I felt like I was back in the islands at this hotel! Is has a great party atmosphere with a tropical vibe. The customer service is also fabulouso!

If you destroy any property in the rooms including the towels or smoke in the rooms, you WILL NOT get your deposit back.

Planned a last minute trip and needed a place to stay in Panama City Beach. I am so glad we found this place. Walking distance from the beach, 24hr food & drinks and a friendly staff! The pool was clean and they had tons of accommodations for fun in the sun - fire pit, pool, lounging chairs and games. Thank you OG for your friendly smile every time we walked into the Lobby & for making us an amazing breakfast. We’ll be back !

It real clean, nice staff! I totally recommend. Has fun games for the kids and beer pong tables! Has 24/7 room service with real friendly staff! And see OG tell him I sent you, really awesome dude!
