Having Doctor Spencer and Doctor Millward doing the surgery has really been a God send. They and the staff are excellent and have made this whole process a lot easier. I have a few screws, but they're definitely not loose, lol

Dr. Spencer was very concerned about my foot problem. He came up with a plan that I should follow for six weeks and then return to see him. He was wonderful and so was his assistant. I was much better when I returned. We had a good understanding. I recommend him and definitely would go back if I needed him.

Dr. Spencer takes his time with you and explains things thoroughly. He did my ankle replacement which is a pretty complicated surgery.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Spencer since he moved to Alamogordo. He is respectful and always takes the conservative approach to care. He listens to his patients and will find any treatments possible before he starts looking at surgical options. He doesn’t reach for the prescription pad for every single issue. He will recommend braces, physical therapy and non narcotic medication before he starts discussing the possibility of surgery. I will continue to use him for all of my foot issues until he decides to retire or I no longer have feet.

Very warm and welcoming office and kind and friendly staff. Hardly any wait. Good and knowledgeable doctors, technicians, and assistants. Dr. Spencer is an excellent surgeon. He genuinely cares and addresses all of your concerns in a kind, compassionate and knowledgeable manner.He gives you detailed explanations of all your options, let's you know what he feels is your best option and why, then he allows you to make that decision. He does a great job in surgery and after. He doesn't leave you with the "Just got butchered" look. Great experience from the first visit all the way through to the end of treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Spencer and the New Mexico Bone and Joint.

True caring professional Dr Spencer really cares about his patients and it shows . Very attentive and understanding . Explains in easy to understand terminology and provides a clear picture of the injury and the treatment. He is truly a doctor you can trust !

I have seen Dr Spencer several times in the past 5-6 years. He never fails to make me feel comfortable & trustworthy in what he is treating me for. He is knowledgeable and skilled; pointing out to me on the XRAY/MRl
