Kudos to the desk person in dealing with an entitled, whinny man with too much money complaining about something so trivial and meaningless that, as i checked in, almost dressed him down with a few choice words i wont mention here. Your employee kept his composure and somehow made daddy warbucks happy, don't know how, but he deserves a raise. Only i didn't catch his name...was wearing a gold chain and pendant i remember though.

To the entitled: Money doesn't make you a better person than anyone...treat those who serve you with the dignity and respect that they deserve.

A great place to visit, the staff is kind and friendly, the hotel restaurant has great food and great people working in it!

Stayed two nights with my whole family there for Chinese new year, and was very relaxing/pleasant. Front desk, restaurant, hot tub and rooms, are all above my expectations. The only thing I would recommend is to upgrade the cable TV package so guests can watch all NFL games in their rooms. 🤓

We are so thrilled with our stay. Our room is super large with a murphy bed. We love that we can put it away and have more hangout space.
The kitchen is super - kids loved having snacks and breakfast in room.
The room is clean, fully equipped and extra towels. We asked for extra pillows & was delivered with in 10 minutes.
Staff were super kind and extremely helpful.
We were happy and looking to come back next year!

A great mid week spring skiing break. All the hotel amenities, pool, hot tub, sauna, gym and convenience of being near the base lodge lift. Great local restaurants. Lovely staff. Very clean.

Rent a delux studio for the weekend and was not disappointed.
Ski in and out of the apartment .

Great ski in ski out slope side Katskill Mountain club. Clean room. Reasonable rates. We are about 75' from our door to the slope.

We have been here many times since the first review above. It is still a great place to stay. The skiing is good, they take good care of the slopes. We have wound up on the far side of the lodge, but it was still pretty easy to ski in/out. Staffing is an issue like every place in the world, but they did okay. We avoid the weekends. They get very busy and the general skiing population at that slope is rude. I know it sounds sort of strange that this should be any different than any ski area and I did not believe it when I was told that. But after a few encounters with some of the less considerate patrons, it seems to be true. If you can avoid Saturday and Sunday that is best. Earlier in the day is better if you can't avoid the weekend. The last few hours of Sunday are good too. We will be back at least once per season.

Really nice rooms that won't break the bank. I strongly suggest getting a group of people and grabbing a 2-3 bedroom suite. They are super nice and most have kitchens as well. And during the Summer, at least, they are MUCH more affordable than many places this nice.

The pool is great as well as the bar and the fire pit downstairs. Plenty of great amenities.

Our room was great, had a full kitchen, table and chairs, fireplace, TV and a sofa. Very roomy inside. Also had an ironing board, iron and hair dryer. Even had a plunger. But someone above us kept pounding on the floor. It started at 530 am. Once we went downstairs, we told the front desk. Then we had the maids come in the room. They heard it, they went up to room, guy in there said he heard no noises. The front desk said, they did have a child in the room. Which is what we figured, but that they were checking out today, we should be fine. At 5pm at night, we came back to room for a nap, same pounding started. It's happening as I write this review. We are hoping to switch rooms because we came to have a good time and get some much needed rest. We do not want to be up all night or up early in morning with all this noise.

We are just finishing up a beautiful week here in Hunter in a very comfortable 2 bedroom condo. The fitness center is open which we appreciated. It is very quiet up here which we also appreciated. Staff is friendly and helpful and the local towns are fun to explore. Scenery, quiet, and comfort.

We stayed here last weekend for our friends' wedding and had a great time. The hotel itself is nice, but the staff are the selling point - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and willing to go above and beyond for the guests.

The rooms came with a bed and a pullout sofa. I slept on the sofa and it was about as comfortable as you could expect. The room was clean and large. The fitness area is a little small, but wasn't crowded. The location is amazing if you are there for Hunter mountain skiing.

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. All of the 2-3 or more rooms are very big and comfortable to be in. Dinner downstairs is very good. Great choice if you are looking for a vacation, also including many fun activities to do. Kaatskill Mountain Club gets my 5 stars!!

It has become a yearly ritual for my husband and I to ski and stay at the Kaatskill Mountain Club. We're always welcomed warmly and professionally by the staff, and our stay is always made comfortable. We love going for a dip in the heated pool then warming up in the sauna after a good day of skiing. So fun! We already can't wait for next season!

The beautiful outdoor heated pool is calling me back! We had a fantastic stay at Kaatskill Mountain Club at the end of last year's long cold winter and it was dreamy. We did a whimsical get away - less than two hours from home and it was beyond our expectations. Now this winter is upon us and I am looking forward to a get-away for hiking, then relaxing in the pool and hot tub.Van Winkles Restaurant was wonderful - great food, warm and friendly service, and it was perfectly relaxing to simply walk back to our room. Whether there is snow or not, there is such beauty in this area!

Our first visit here was a great experience. Staff is so nice and accommodating. Skiing is awesome and the staff on Hunter was also very helpful and accommodating. Views are great and the on site restaurant Van Winkles has good food. We will absolutely be back.

Ziplining, cycling, pools all within walking distance (less than a mile). Felt like we had the whole place to ourselves at this time of the year (late October). The outdoor pool is nicely heated, and there's a hot tub for extra heat. The hot and dry saunas were nice and clean.Service was excellent.

Tom, Micky, and Paul were excellent instructors full of energy, and personality. The safety briefing and gear fitting was conducted with precision, exactness, and proficiently ensuring all zip liner's felt safe and secure. They made the adventure fun and exciting. We had two people in our group that never zipped before, they excelled and loved their experience. I will be returning with more friends. You guys were awesome!!! The views were breathtaking 🤗

Stayed at the liftside condos and they were awesome! The place is huge and not at all what I was expecting. I brought a lot of things from home that I didn't need because it was fully furnished. Parking right in front. 5 m ok nute wall to the lifts or the main lodge. Excellent vacation, I would love to come back!

More than worth the money. The outdoor heated pool and hit tubs were really cool in the snow. And the sauna and steam room were very nice. Rooms were clean and very nice.
