Privately owned. Lots of chairs n junk in the yard that I removed from my shots. Went twice and both times he saw my long white lens and went down to the dock and pretended to take a bath. I laughed. If you're going to own a lighthouse, you're going to get people looking at it.

It’s true you cannot get to the lighthouse, but it is a lovely view across the channel.

This lighthouse is apparently privately owned so you can't view inside. It was a beautiful lighthouse though in a beautiful area. You could only see this across a channel between Lac LA Belle & Lake Superior.

Didn't get to take a tour but from the beach the building is beautiful, especially in the snow. Well worth the hike

It's at the end of the road and a great place to put in your kayaks or canoes .

Looks nice from accross the river. It was just a drive by didn't have time to go to the lighthouse beside we are not sure if its open. Location is across the the other side of the Mendota Canal. We were at the Bete Gris Rd. But maybe next time around when we come back to this area again in the future. Looks like a nice one to visit. I only put a 4 star because I did not tour the whole place.
