Metro Diner

This is a very nice little diner. We were tired of the hotel breakfast and decided to try out Metro Diner. It didn't disappoint.

Our waitress, Sheila, was very helpful and kind. She made sure we were well taken care of.

The food was delicious, and the portions were larger than expected.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Metro Diner, and I must say, their Fish Dinner left me utterly impressed. From the first bite to the last, every aspect of the meal was exceptional.

The fish was impeccably cooked to perfection – tender, flaky, and bursting with flavor. Accompanied by a generous serving of crispy fries and a side of vibrant coleslaw, it was a symphony of taste and texture on my palate.

What truly set this dining experience apart was the attention to detail and the impeccable service. The staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction.

Thus place is so good! The tenders are always so juicy and the waffles are light and fluffy. I always eat here and I'm satisfied

We just moved to Huntsville and went to Metro for breakfast. This place has a great variety of items on the menu and the food was excellent. Most importantly, we felt very welcomed by our server Sheila. She was friendly, respectful and was paying attention to details. We will definitely make this one of our go to breakfast places.

The Bold City burger was fantastic! It wasn't on the menu, but I saw a picture of it on the wall, while I was waiting to be seated, and said "I want that". They have it in their system so they were happy to oblige and it was one of the best burgers I've had in my area!

Kind and knowledgeable service in a casual atmosphere with generous portions. I came here so hungry I was nauseas and left so full I felt I could take a nap or take on the day. I planned on eating only half but couldn’t resist the taste!

Friendly service and tasty food. Good portion sizes and reasonable prices.

Ordered the door dash. Food was great. Got the Bissell Breakfast and an orange juice. It was great. Tasted really good. Can’t wait to dig into this chocolate cake!

First visit today and it was delicious. We went for lunch and had the meat lovers omelet and the avocado bacon breakfast sandwich both of which were fabulous. Our server, Carmen, was great, friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Bethany was so nice. Her mimosa suggestion was on point. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. I’m visiting from out of town and this place was suggested to me. Definitely will come back next time I’m in town.

Hands down the best breakfast ever! Portions are large, entrees are packed with flavor, and the staff goes above and beyond just so you can enjoy your experience. Bethany made our visit memorable!

This was my first time in Alabama. We came here our first day from the airport and it was great!!! The food was scrumptious!!! Our server was sweet and I got the down home Southern food I was looking for. Thank you and God bless you all!

Good down home cookin.. from a chain is hard to find! The servers are pleasant, fast, and accurate. The food is always the same and delicious. The steak and scramble bowl is amazing. The cinnamon roll pancakes are delicious. You can never go wrong at metro dinner. For weekends go online and sign up for the wait list to cut your wait time down as they are always busy!

It was my first time trying metro dinner, had my mom in town for Mother's Day and decided to try the place out. The service was 10/10, even with it being super crowded on Mother's Day the whole staff work together to get tables cleared so waiters could be seated. Everyone was so friendly and the food was DELICIOUS!!! Great first experience at Metro Dinner ! Will definitely be back.

Raven was great! The food was INCREDIBLE! The chicken fell off the bone and was full of flavor! Needed nothing! Nice thin crispy bacon and juicy sausage. Unreal experience hard to believe it’s possible to have this great of a time so such little money. Spent $45 but got 3 entrees we couldn’t decide lol. Love this place! Will definitely eat here again!

We went here on a date. Husband got the honey chicken sandwich and I got the breakfast meat scrambler bowl. Perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The service was so friendly and fast. Will be going back for sure.

I've been a few times now and the food is always delicious. This last time was exceptionally good, with their current seasonal griddle/Belgian Waffle: Carrot Cake. It was a carrot cake waffle, topped with a thin icing syrup, cinnamon butter, and candied pecans. Incredible.

And I've had their berry waffle previously (and unfortunately don't have a picture, but it was so colorful with the berries!). Absolutely fantastic as well.

Highly recommend for breakfast or brunch.

This place is great! We have been twice and we have had fantastic experiences both times. Chicken and waffles are amazing and our favorite, highly recommend!

Our first visit, but it won't be our last. I had the Chicken Salad sandwich, (I prefer my chicken shredded, but it was good) with a house salad as my side, it was all so fresh! 😋

What a great meal we had at Metro. We stopped in looking for a quick bite. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes was very tasty. My wife ordered the fried cod and it was cooked perfect. We will definitely be going back. Portion size was above average so be hungry. The waitress was Ashley I believe and was on point with service.
