Terrible - Warn Everyone, RUN AWAY - Small hole in the tint the first time, I told them immediately, they said come back the Sunday. Sunday, they didn't show up, they called me back and said to come the Monday. Monday they said they were out of tint, I had to go buy my own so they would fix it. Well, this time they cut it too short and there is a gap at the bottom. They said come back Wednesday when they get tint in again. I just went there, they refused to fix it unless I pay them again. Blamed me for buying the wrong tint. I asked first, Advance Auto, they said yes and could have asked me to exchange in on Monday if there was a problem with it. The problem is HE cut it wrong, there is a gap at the bottom. He said he didn't have time to deal with this. Also, the other window also has scratches and a bubble at the bottom, but that seems really minor at this point.

My husband had my windows tinted at a birthday gift. There was lots of bubbles & debris between the glass and the tint on all the windows that were done. I took the vehicle back to be fixed within the 14 day replacement period. Upon arrival I entered the garage because the front door was locked and a sign on the door said to enter garage if door was locked. The owner was nice until I said I needed repairs done. At this time he started to yell at me and state that I was not allowed in the garage. He also said that there would always be bubbles and imperfections in the tint and that "nothing is perfect!". He refused to do any work to fix their mistake unless I paid more money and made an appointment for another day. He then threatened to call the cops on me when I said he should honor his work and make it right. Needless to say I left very upset and will NEVER do business with them again. Beware if you go to have work done!!

This place messed up my tint on my 2015 nissan. Left windows up for 5 days just to assure it was dry.. The drying was no problem for me as I have other cars to drive. Once I let tint down, very shocked. No the tint didn't slide because it's totally dry. The problem is the cutting is awful. Not Acceptable. I'm sure a 1st grader could cut better than this. I called the guy because this business has tinted other cars for me but when they was in the old building next door, He wasn't the one I did business with In past. No big deal, maybe I have came out a day the boss is going to do my car instead of a worker. Talked good to get my payment... but now that I call him and ask that he look at my car when I bring down. He started screaming at me. And told me no you can't bring your car down, deal with it, do what you have to do... I was very shocked. Bad customer service and to be honest the way he was screaming. Anyone would be scared to take car down now. He not willing to look at or fix... but since he was running business on a cell phone, I went ahead and sent the photos so he could see his job and skills is awful....

Worst place to go. My wife wanted her windows tinted professionally and got shade tree service. There were bubbles underneath the tint. The inside back rear window tint is hanging down from where he tired to remove the bubbles by using some tool but, he only made it worst. The owner was very unprofessional and degrading. I wouldn't refer no one to the company. 1-Day Tint 1.4 miles West of University will be a much better choice. Especially if you want 100% Satisfaction and Great Customer Service.

This was the worst experience I have ever had at any automotive accessory shop. On 3 July I took my GS350 to have the tint removed from my rear glass and have it replaced with ceramic tint that I purchased from tintzoom online for $200.00. When I arrived the owner and I agreed on a price of $190.00 to do all window with the exception of the left front and left rear (I had already installed it) with the tint I supplied. Having done over 50 tint jobs at a reputable local shop while in college (10 years ago) I know the proper way of installing tint, but being a little rusty I decided to take it to a professional to ensure the tint was removed properly (Steamer or Ammonia and Black Bag). After pulling the car into the shop to start the job I noticed the CARWASH DETAILER with a razor blade hacking at the tint in the rear window. I immediately asked him to stop and asked the owner to take over before he ruin the rear glass defroster. I then left with my ride that was waiting (big mistake) and had him take me to the bank to get cash for the job. When I returned my car was supposedly ready. I looked at my rear package and it was covered with tint scrapings and my defrost lines were no longer black they were gold (as in no longer working from scraping with a razor). I also noticed that my 3rd brake light was torn to pieces, and there were several pieces of tint left on the window with new film laid on top of it. Soon after I spoke with the manager to inform him of my displeasure with the services rendered. The first thing I asked the owner about was my 3rd brake light and his answer was “We had to break it to put the film on.” The second was my defroster his response was” We had to get the tint off.” The third issue with this humbling experience was the patches of old tint eft on the window with new tint installed over it, in which I received no response from the owner. My response to the owner was “I am not paying for this,” so he decided to vacuum some of the tint from the rear package tray and reduce the price to $165.00 since he broke my $250.00 3rd brake light. After I still refused to pay we both called the police (Little did he know I was on the phone with a good friend who is deputy chief of police). So between the times the police arrived he decided to rip the tint off the windows and throw my $200.00 ceramic tint in the trash, despite his wife warning him not to. When the police arrived he lied about ripping the tint off and even said I didn’t bring any tint to him and stated that he supplied the tint. After looking at the car the officer asked why is there just tint on the driver side windows, I stated that is because those were the windows I did myself. To end the story the officers did nothing (OF COURSE) and stated it was a civil matter which is probably true. Long story short I am out $568.49 to replace the rear glass to get my defrosters back (plus installation), $200.00 for the ceramic tint that he decided to rip from the window and throw in the trash, and $250.00 for my 3rd brake light the he tore up. PLEASE do not go to the poor established called Customized Auto Detail & Window Tinting or you will receive a humbling experience like mine.

I had windows tinted on May 29. First indication I should have left was when the price in person increased from the phone price. I went ahead anyway. They ran my vehicle the entire time while working (1 1/2 hrs) even after my request not to do so. Their explanation was the battery would discharge otherwise. I have had numerous vehicles tinted and have never incurred this problem. Upon inspection, many ares of small bubbles were noted. They insisted they were water bubbles and said they would go away. I returned on June 4 to address the bubbles that remained. The employee still insisted they were air bubbles and to give a few more days. I returned on June 13 (my next opportunity). The man in charge asked for my receipt and said that I was past my warranty for replacement and there was nothing he would do. I would not recommend this shop simply because they do not stand behind their work. I had returned (June 4) within the warranty time frame (14 days) and they sent me away insisting the problem would go away. The problem remains. All they want is your money, not your business. I wish I would have received the same service the other review received. Go elsewhere!

Very terrible. I had my Camaro tinted at this place the guy which is the other first proceeded to smoke in my car while he did my tint after I asked him not to he began to do what he claimed was a time job he left scratches in the tint cut the tint too short as well as left multiple air pockets which he claimed would go away and still have not. I urge you to stay away from this place unless you just want to throw away money.

This is ABSOLUTELY the worst place to have your car serviced, for window tinting or detailing. The owner is VERY unprofessional, ghetto, and rude. When you attempt to calmly explain the problems with your service(s), he becomes EXTREMELY defensive and hostile. He "provides" a warranty that he refuses to honor. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT waste your time and money with this ghetto-operated business.
