Love this park, just don't listen to Google on how to get here. Maps sends me to a dead end in a nearby neighborhood. Take Carl T Jones to Four Mile Post and go right. You'll see it on your right just a bit down.

Lots of ducks and geese and a few cranes. I've seen people fishing, and I think there's turtles in the water but not sure.

It's pretty quiet and peaceful with three ponds, two covered picnic areas, and lots of benches set around the walking trail. Love taking my daughter here for a morning walk.

Great green space amongt the hustle/bustle of the area (shopping complex, movie theater, etc). Peaceful to watch the ducks and lone egret that occasionally visits.

This is a great little pet-friendly park in Huntsville. It’s not as grand as Big Spring Park, but it offers a really nice walking path with benches, pavilions, and two lovely ponds. The paths are very easy for walking and would easily accommodate someone of limited mobility. Several people were fishing and enjoying the shade offered by the pavilions. There are beautiful Mountain View’s and across the street is the greenway path, making for a nice excursion. You’ll enjoy watching ducks, geese, and turtles through the park. There is also a convenient, free parking lot, which is always nice. I definitely recommend this park.

I absolutely love this park. Very dog and family friend. Just wish it had a playground or swings for kids.

It is a nice short walk around a pond. Can get too sunny and hot in the summer though.

I love this city. This park is one of the many reasons. Two beautiful lakes and a nice walking trail just in a random spot behind Target!! It was surprisingly quiet, clean, and quite beautiful. Much bigger than one could see from the road. The ponds/lake are stocked with fish. There were benches and a gazebo for sitting. I even got to feed the geese! I loved it!

Plenty of pathway for all, benches sporadically spread out, decent creek fishing, dog friendly, and bike friendly.

Clean, quiet break. I enjoy walking dog here. Plenty of opportunities for him to sniff. Never crowded. Two lakes with nice path around so you can mix it up with figure eight shape. Can extend with paths at both ends. Adjacent Small Creek or drainage has beach but be careful of some barbed wire in small sections. Plenty of parking in the lot or in neighborhood. Not sure how it will change once all the houses are built.

Nice scenic walk. Concrete walk path. Ponds. Well maintained. Covered picnic tables. I walk my best buddy, Max the somewhat naughty German Shepherd, there. Would be nice to have animal waste bags available because some folks don't care about public health/hygiene, which is part of the government's responsibility (ironically).

A lovely place to take a walk, especially the section to the south of Four Mile Post Road. Quiet, secluded. The paved walkway is much cleaner than it was the last time I was here, which was several years ago. The reason for the several years gap in my walking here was--the condition of the walkway. Very glad to see it better maintained...

Good fishing in the two ponds for bass and bream, nice running and walking track, and there are always plenty of dogs being walked. The park is always clean and rarely crowded. Lots of ducks and turtles in both ponds.

Nice place to sit on a bench and feed the ducks.

Still a new park and has a weird atmosphere to it. Probably going to be great once the trees grow up a bit. For now, I wouldn't go when it's hot out.

Fun park for walking yourself and your dog. Ponds are fun to fish, lots of largemouth bass to catch in the ponds and creeks. Not well lit after dark.

Great place to relax and walk. Nearby to everything downtown Huntsville. Must visit when you're in Huntsville. Take a loaf of bread and watch all the different species of fish you attract while feeding!
