Beautiful little spot on the East side of the lake when the sunflowers are in bloom!
FYI, Lake Rd is now blocked off from Nebraska Rd access. Not sure when this occurred, but Google maps is not updated as of this post and still may direct visitors through here!
We rerouted ourselves to Oklahoma Rd and accessed Lake Rd from the west side, navigating south and then northeast along the lake until you see a sign for Posen Woods on the right after a couple miles. 🙏🏻❤

This is a great part of the Washington County Recreational Area. I would highly recommend visiting this this of the park.

It's a nice little area. It's a nature preserve so there's no hiking. Very peaceful. You can sit on the bench and listen to nature.
